He won't get robbed as much as someone will try to rob him, find out it's amazing what you can do with photoshop and empty bottles of mineral water these days, and beat the crap out of him for wasting their robbing time.

The worst part about buzzfeed is how lazy they are.  They like the photo-essay style, which is alright for certain things, but that's all they've got.  Writing an actual article from time to time wouldn't hurt.

It's one of those rare times where someone gets killed in a mugging and the appropriate response is "well, of course he did."

Inevitably his brush with the seedy underbelly of the public will change him and he gets to become a GOP big-wig.

So we're supposed to believe that 6 small helium balloons carried away $4000?

$4000 in 20's is 200 bills and at about a gram per bill, so about 200 grams ignoring the wrappers. It takes a liter of helium to lift a single gram. How big do those balloons look? Maybe 4 liters each? Lets make it 10. Hell, 20. 6 balloons at 20 liters each, so his magical look-smaller-than-they-really-are balloons can lift about 120 grams, ignoring the weight of the balloon and the string. I'm not buying it.

No, some how the internet was going to be different. We already lost TV.

Go back to the 1950s and find passionate debate on whether TV should be "commercial" or "sponsored" or using the model they use in the UK.

Remember we all are internet early adopters. Some of us are / were great fans of Fark and cheered it being a success story. Watching it commoditize whats already there, then sell that to any asswit come-lately out for their slice of the pie, is just annoying and sad sometimes.

I don't get it. Obviously this kid is fake, but there are kids out there doing pretty similar shiat who aren't. I think if I had that kind of fark you money the LAST thing I'd be doing is farking posting pictures on Instagram.

What exactly makes you think this is fake?  The kid has vaguely Middle-easternish features; his parents could well be from some oil country and decided to come live like royalty here in the states.  And you think some rich little prick would give a shiat about the proper use of "you're" and "your"?  Have you seen some of the dumb shiat that Justin Beiber has said?  At least he has some claim to have worked for his wealth; this kid would have been born into wealth and known nothing but wealth his entire life.  His attitude is nothing less than what I would expect from someone growing up in such an environment.

Easy with that knee-jerkin'. You're reading way, way, way too much in to that.

I didn't really have a point. Sometimes it's just fun to bug your spouse since they know you're just having fun with them... and since Buzzfeed (Featured Partner) used to have "Featured Partner" after every link on Fark - the other of the grand total of two websites she visits every day - it's now both the first thing that pops up in my mind every time I hear/see the word "Buzzfeed" (Featured Partner) but also a reference my wife would instantly understand.

Oh yeah?  Well, the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles per hour, beating its wings 7-9 times per second rather than 43. It's true: a 5 ounce bird cannot carry a one pound coconut, but furthermore, no swallow weighs 5 ounces. The barn swallow, which is what most English people mean when they say "swallow", weighs only 20 grams.

So THERE!

Chainsaw Turd Elf: I only like Buzzfeed for their cute animal features.

Did my wife finally make a username? I'm coming home in 6 hours honey - less post-y, more make my dinner-y.

I sure hope his parents are smart enough to create a trust where he can't get access to the principal. If not he's going to blow through their money in a matter of years once he has inherited it. I've seen it happen before first hand. I don't care how much money it is, stupid will find a way to lose it.

Uzzah: mongbiohazard: Me: "FEATURED PARTNER!!!"

She's very patient.

What, exactly, is your point? She says "I like this thing," and your response is "but they advertise!"? If she said "I like Coke," do you say "IT'S ALL OVER AMERICAN IDOL, YOU STUPID BIATCH!"?

If your going to bag on someone, bag on Fark for selling you eyeballs to whoever pays.

That's okay, I'm his wife's featured partner.

/got nothin.

xanadian: We weren't supposed to post his Instagram pictures.  We needed to axe his permissions first.  Those pics are his.

sauce_jenkins: As much as I feel deep in my heart that this is obnoxious, I find his antics kind of amusing.

Hehe, yeah me too. It has "satire" written all over it. I'd hang out with the kid once, just to see if he's cool.

/Although the spelling hurts.

it's not his father's money, it's his mother's.

his mother is shikha sharma.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shikha_Sharma

i have a feeling she will put a stop to this.

it only takes a few minutes on google to find this out.

The first rule in being a baller is to have nice kicks. He has more than just a couple of scuffs on those shoes.

/ also, he should shave his neck. He's hairier than Kim K.

His staples aren't the ones that are coated in gold, they're just gold colored.  Real gold staples don't come in full strips.  Even when El Casco, makers of gold staplers offered golden staples, they only came in half strips.

Dude, I ordered the shikha sharma once, it was awful.   Tasted like rich fish.

Apparently, his parents haven't been taught in the disciplinary method of "cockpunch."

Which is what this kid really needed when he was younger.

I'm going to use this as inspiration for a screenplay about two ne'er do wells 20 somethings who are fresh out of prison. Having too much time on their hands while in prison they recognize the use of targeting rich idiots via their own hubris on social networking sites.

They proceed to rob a number of the instagram set, while being tracked by a wise cracking black parole officer, a once former glory boy, fallen on bad times after a few blown cases.

Things escalate until they happen to be robbing the house while at the same time another set of robbers have already robbed the house and kidnapped the owners. Our two robbers end up working with the detective, helping him rescue the kidnapped owners, and they manage to slip away to Mexico before they get taken into custody.

I'll call it "Instagrabbed".

You're probably being sarcastic, but it damn sure sounds like a movie that movie industry execs would trip over trying to get made.

It's times like this that I always remind myself: "Someone else's happiness is not the measure of my unhappiness."  Don't like it? Then don't let it bug you.

If it helps the sadists out there any, I've known some moderately to mega-rich people in my life, and more than a few of them were still desperately unhappy.

Go to that video with him counting money at the end. There's cocaine on the table. I'm serious. Look closely at the lower right of frame at 0:02 seconds, and at the lower left of frame at 0:12 seconds. This kid is such an idiot he made a video with cocaine on his desk.

I wanna stroke his ego so that I can take some of his money. He needs attention, I've got lots of attention to give as long as he keeps the money flowing to my bank account!

Looks more like Kleenex.
