A great film is not necessarily the same thing as a popular and/or moneymaking film.

Ugh. I have rallied against the new Evil Dead and was actually saddened for a min that its getting great reviews. Then I quit being a internet sourpuss and realized, wow, a horror movie is actually getting good/great reviews. Guess ill have to see it.

Michael Bay laughs in your direction from atop his giant pile of money.

I look forward to Ebert's review of The Chin's movie.

Audiences  are stupid. But you just can't let them know you think so.

So how does that explain The Man with the Screaming Brain?

I haven't seen Leno in a movie since "Hollywood Knights."

Oh! That chin. Well then, carry on.

From the trailer, it looks like she does.

Not Ebert, but Roper via Ebert. He hated it.

Of course, he's a tool, so take that into consideration.

Rotten Tomatoes is 76%, IMDB is at 7.7.

Unless an underaged girl gets gang raped by the entire forest, I'm sitting this one out.

I'm not a horror guy - I'm over the slasher film genre from 30 years ago and never got into "torture porn" as he descibes it;  but I enjoyed the heck out of Drag me to Hell.  The horror part is understated, and the comedy is spot on.  Appropriately enough it's a Raimi film.

I love and normally agree with Roeper, but every now and then, he makes me scratch my head.

Sin_City_Superhero: Chuck Finley!

He's the main reason I even started watching Burn Notice. Little did I know that the series was actually quite badass. He should get his own spinoff series.

I'm waiting for the day that Random Underworld Type #1 craps himself when he meets Chuck, and we find out that Chuck Finley has slowly become Miami's own Keyser Soze-style legend.
