Gyrfalcon: Otto_E_Rodika: You expect me to talk? No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!
awalkingecho: I always used to love blowing up the crates in the Archives and then hiding in them and waiting for them to respawn to conceal me.
JohnAnnArbor: Gyrfalcon: Otto_E_Rodika: You expect me to talk? No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!In the book, Bond was to be split in half with a circular saw, not a laser.
SurfaceTension: You know, I'm sure gun folks will agree with me when I say that this never would have happened if there had been others around with weapons. Why in the world would they have weapons at Fort Knox?

freetomato: Nunpoo: Why do we get news about Kentucky from a source in New Zealand? That's what I'm sayin'.I'm a DoD employee in another state whose agency has a vested interest in Ft Knox.... very sorry for the victim, but glad my area of interest was unaffected./Kids, dammit.//110% vehicle sweeps are probably coming - surprised they didn't happen after Ft Hood///If said target had been armed, might he have lived? Ask the WV police chief and the head of CO prisons their opinion. Oh. They are dead. Nevermind.////<own lotsa guns. Not particularly worried about the government disarming meSlashies!
Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: NO ODDJOB.Them's the Goldeneye N64 house rules.
99.998er: Awesome reporting with all the anonymous people and unconfirmed reports.1 dead (maybe), perhaps shot but really don't know. We think it might have happened it Kentucky, but Ohio isn't ruled out. A couple of FBI agents or maybe ATF guys were sent to scene to assist in the investigation, we think.
Thanks for the Meme-ries: [i291.photobucket.com image 225x225]Fort Knox is for tourists!
RottNDude: thisispete: Did anyone else think that Bond got a little rapey in the hay shed scene? Different time, I guess, but he didn't seem so suave then.I was watching Goldfinger the other day and thought the same thing. That kinda move would get someone arrested these days.

fireclown: clipperbox: seen fleeing the areaEasily the worst movie of all time. OF ALL TIME.
Silverlock: CSB time. I was stationed at Ft. Knox in the only infantry unit on base back in the 70s. One of our regular tasks was to be rotated through Gold Vault guard duty. If an "El Dorado" alert was called, we had 7 minutes to gear up, load our platoon into APCs, get to the vault and surround it. Until the alert was called off, our only job was to shoot anyone leaving the vault. Anyone. Didn't matter if they were in uniform or were a kid. Anyone./Also remember being told no gold was stored in the vault. Battlefield drugs (morphine, speed and antibiotics)
