Personally, I like the idea of mandatory firing squads for rapists better in India.

I'm good with both.  I'd imagine the women would be happier not being raped, than watching their rapist be shot.

Having seen the Indian bus system and how they pack their buses full, I'm sure this pressure-sensitive device won't malfunction at all and end up killing some poor sap who gets squished up against some Electro-chick.

Having met people, I'll be surprised if anyone actually uses this rube goldberg device.

The GPS panic beacon is nice. Japanese children have one that's a siren and most keep it on their backpacks. If you were to grab a 6 year old off the street to kidnap or something, he'd pull his ripcord and an 80 decibel alarm would sound. Since they have them on cell phones as well I'm sure they have an alert sounding on momma's phone, too.

But a tazer bra? Once someone's that close it's going to hard to activate it.

Didn't someone patent a device which shot a barbed metal arrowhead into the penis of anyone who tried to penetrate her, and would require surgery to remove?

And the best part is that it's not sterile by a longshot.

Even normal urogenital flora will do horrific things to the human body when introduced into tissues and the blood stream. It's pretty much a death sentence in undeveloped areas of a country like India, even if they get immediate care.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Wouldn't the shock also impact the victim if the perp closed the circuit?

Badder: Angry injured rapist attacking you hellbent on vengeance.

Victim: I did what I had to do to neutralize the threat.
Cop: You shot him 15 times. 14 in the dick.
Victim: It kept twitching.

Wow, an Indian engineer that actually produced something that worked and had coherent documentation? I guess when they work for their own country they actually try and don't cock everything up like when they're on an outsourcing gig.

fark outsourcing.  It never works, short of multi-nationals with huge process management.

They became BDSM fetish wear that a good pair, custom made to fit the female (or male) involved can cost around 1,500 bucks a pop.

There should be an award for a headline that forces you to click on a link, because you have no idea what it means.

Answer: shock and text

I suggest one that pops spikes with enough force to push into the attacker.
