Welp, this was certainly easier to read than my headline :P

Let's go Bayern!

2013-04-02 01:41:52 PM
I only follow the United Football International Alliance myself.

2013-04-02 01:50:52 PM
When it comes to rooting for underdogs I gotta back PSG and the Swedish Samurai, but Juve can fark right the hell off

2013-04-02 02:43:24 PM
Sounders vs. Santos Laguna in CCL Semifinal tonight too.

GOAL BAYERN!

2013-04-02 02:51:52 PM
Quick goal for Bayern. Also, anyone in the FFPL know why the scores from Sunday/Monday haven't been updated yet?

2013-04-02 03:02:56 PM
Holy crap, David Beckham is still alive??

Also, somehow I missed the old man at Palermo finally selling Pastore

2013-04-02 03:04:43 PM
Damn Roben just drilled that shot, lucky block.

2013-04-02 03:08:58 PM
Dynamo Kiev has been knocked out.
Now who do I root for?

Think I might just switch over to the WC qualifiers.

Galatasaray, the next furthest team East

Messi. As if there was any doubt.

I never expect to see anybody following that league, but then someone like you comes along and sneaks up behind me.

Messi very nearly makes it 2 for the Tangerines.

2013-04-02 03:30:00 PM

StRalphTheLiar: for the Tangerines.

Really they should just cut their losses and tell everyone they will be playing in their traditional blue and reds to avoid the embarrassment.

2013-04-02 03:36:49 PM
I really am surprised to see Beckham out there. Not saying he doesn't still have a bit of quality left in him, I just wonder how a team like PSG with such deep pockets is playing a guy in his late 30s--especially in a game of this magnitude.

2013-04-02 03:37:02 PM
Well this is the first time I have ever seen a team play 10v11 with a dedicated set piece taker.

2013-04-02 03:38:40 PM

Halli: Well this is the first time I have ever seen a team play 10v11 with a dedicated set piece taker.

And I thought special teams were the domain of American football. Silly me

Somebody is selling one of their shirts on ebay for real cheap!

Rory Delap?

I am so glad these games are on today and tommorow.  It makes online training classes that much more tolerable.

/wait im supposed to be learning?

If I didn't know any better, I would guess this is a actually a promotional jersey for a Spanish soft drink called "Iniesta".

Trocadero: "People ask me what I got my wife as a gift for our wedding. She got Zlatlan!"

I'm fairly sure I remember you were living in Bosnia for a while... So you don't see the joke there with Zlatan? Or am I too dense to see you clearly got it?

2013-04-02 04:07:26 PM
And Bayern (finally) go up 2-0!

The refs have made some horrible calls today, I was waiting for them to call that one offsides.

2013-04-02 04:08:20 PM
Why must these matches be on at the same time? Well at least I'm fairly certain the Bayern/Juve game is over now with that goal, I can focus my attention on Barca/PSG.

2013-04-02 04:15:22 PM
Cool, Messi scored.

Nice to see the kid finally bag one.

SURPRISE! YELLOW CARD!

2013-04-02 04:19:55 PM
Since when did Barca become the Nat'l Spanish Diving Team? I thought that title belonged to Madrid...

2013-04-02 04:21:02 PM
Protip Barca: If you are going to lie down during play, don't do it 5 yards from your own goal. It makes the offside trap much harder.

2013-04-02 04:21:10 PM
Juventus just tries to pull off a mighty dive in the box and got carded for it, nice! Dude flew like ten feet, it was a bit overkill.

2013-04-02 04:21:39 PM
Goal for the Mercenaries

1-1

2013-04-02 04:21:44 PM
Ibra equalizes! And that's well-deserved.

2013-04-02 04:22:02 PM
PSG get one after far too much unnecessary drama from Barca

2013-04-02 04:22:44 PM
Goal was totally offside.

2013-04-02 04:23:15 PM
Looked offside to me, but it's karma for all the ankle grabbing in the last 15 minutes.

2013-04-02 04:23:28 PM

StRalphTheLiar: Protip Barca: If you are going to lie down during play, don't do it 5 yards from your own goal. It makes the offside trap much harder.

You said it better than I could. Best part is, I think the ball took both guys down

2013-04-02 04:28:12 PM
Man of the match: Barca physio. He has facilitated no fewer than 9 miraculous recoveries tonight.

2013-04-02 04:30:38 PM
Oh dear. Penalty to Barca!!

I know it looks like they're faking it, but soccer collisions are like that: they hurt like hell for a minute or two, but then you've recovered enough to carry on (with a bruise that will still hurt if you apply pressure, but you can play through it). Think of it like banging your shin on furniture.

2013-04-02 04:33:24 PM
The right call in the situation, but he was looking to draw the penalty.

Yep, that was the old "leave my foot in the path of the goalkeeper after kicking the ball out of reach" play.

2013-04-02 04:37:15 PM
Worst Valdez spill since 1989.

2013-04-02 04:38:17 PM
Oh man, I was really hoping for PSG upset, this is sufficient!

Also, Bayern finishes with a clean sheet at home! Woot!

2013-04-02 04:40:22 PM
Second time this week I have to say: "nice tie!"

StRalphTheLiar: Halli: Well this is the first time I have ever seen a team play 10v11 with a dedicated set piece taker.

Rory Delap?

He could at least run up and down the pitch. Stoke dropped him when he couldn't perform up to their low standards anymore.

2013-04-02 07:14:14 PM

seumasokelly: Sounders vs. Santos Laguna in CCL Semifinal tonight too.

I'll have to see if I can find a way to watch that one. Mon the Mexican Hoops!

Palmer Eldritch: MEANWHILE in the CONCACAF CL Dos Santos-Sounders is 0-0 at the half

Figures a former LA Galaxy player would squash Seattle.
