wooden_badger: vladimpaler: Guess I'll state the obvious:  The Patriots just aren't as good when they are not taping their opponents' signals without Weis and Crennel.

Rather obvious.

Charlie Weiss - 35-27 at Notre Dame, 1-11 at Kansas, 36-38 overall, 1-2 in bowls
Romeo Crennell - 24-40 in Cleveland, 4-15 in Kansas City, 28-55 overall, no playoffs

Looks like they could have used some video help too.

Brokenseas: I blame Wes Welker.

Not so much Welker, but the fact that the ENTIRE passing game was built around him.  Gee, Brady has a 3rd and 8, who will get the ball?  With no long threat and our TE's injured, there can be only Welker.  Becomes real easy to defend.

The whole Welker situation in NE seems odd.  Franchised, then this year, the "Oh he didn't call us in time, sorry Wes" excuse for letting him get away to Denver?  Somethin' ain't right.

only the "front office" knows, i guess, but when that happened there was a lot of media speculation that him publicly grousing about his contract last offseason must have pissed off Belichick.  Remember how early last season, he was held out of much of the offense?  even then people speculated that that was Belichick's way of putting Welker in his place.  "You like airing dirty laundry, Wes?  OK, grab a baseball hat and a clipboard and have fun watching the Patriot offense run without you the next few games."

I agree and have been saying that for years.

I actually think the Pat's defense was starting to look somewhat respectable with Talib in there.  I actually think losing him early in the Ravens game was as damaging, or maybe even more damaging, as losing Gronk.  I'm very glad they were able to re-sign him, even if it's only a 1 year deal.  They have a good group of LB and can stop the run quite well.  However, their DBs and pass rush have been fairly dreadful recently although, like I said, I think Talib helps the DB situation a lot.

Killer Cars: Yanks_RSJ: That, and generate a pass rush without blitzing too often.

Yeah, the first Super Bowl loss against you guys was actually more because of your pass rush. I've never seen a front four dismantle a Patriots offensive line in the Belichick era like you guys did that day.

Except for their other playoff losses. This article is retarded. The Pats haven't been losing in the playoffs because of their offense or their defense. They have been losing because their O-line keeps deciding that they aren't going to block any more.

If they would just bench their entire line once the playoffs start, they would be winning rings every year.

No, not really.  He is such a douchebag that his thoughts and opinions mean less than nothing to me.

I will point out that many others have violated his side

No not the whole thing about whether either side welched on a deal. Outside objective observers can easily note that it doeswnt matter whether one of you two arent jabberingabout a given point. You will still be jabbering about something regardless of the agreement

Heres the awkward part. of the conversation:

Jaylectetc: Have you no shame?

Vladetc: Not in regards to you.

Pretty much the only time outside of this unique thread that you will ever hear anybody tell another person that they feel no shame in their presence it will be in a B or bollywood movie immediately before their clothes fly off and the start to f*ck . That was the point in the discussionwhere I thought it went awkward.

I've always felt that their constant slants work better in the reg season than in the playoffs because they give the defense more leeway with the contact to the receivers in the post season.

I'm calling it the Bellicheat curse! NWE will not win another championship as long as Bill is running things.  Not that I mind because I farking hate the Patriots.

Which proves nothing except they are much better coordinators than they are coaches.
