Not in the good way? The evidence is consistent with star-struck 14 year old virgins going wild: mattresses were allegedly left bloodied.

Above quote was from the gawker story; businessinsider didn't load right for me.  (Used to be businessinsider was fine and gawker network didn't display right. Times change.)

Was there an actual article on that page? All I got was some jumbled text, a picture of Arianna and a burger ad.

Same here.
Maybe it's a conceptual depiction of the state of the hotel room?

It looks like script blocker keeps it from loading. It loaded OK earlier this morning when looked at it, but the script blocker here at work blocks it. Temporarily allowing this page loaded correctly.

I read it. He's complaining he has to repaint after a renter moved out. gasp. Every time someone moves out of my rental house repainting is the minimum I assume.

$500,000 to repaint

Now I'm kinda looking forward to the HufPo sponsored shindig at the World Fark Party III.

if a website wont display the text of an article just by allowing the basic domain name it is a website i dont need to look at.  geniuses know better than to allow advertisements just to see text of an article.

Yeah it seemed pretty tame, the walls have holes, the floor has scratches.  Unless you are renting to a college student you should probably expect them to hang things on the walls.

Yeah, homeowner sounds like they're looking for a bonus year of rent. Wear and tear happens, Sherlock.

Repainted with a special mix that requires the tears of Siberian unicorns I guess.

Her former landlord is sitting on $93 large for a security deposit, and he wants more money?

How does it feel to want?

She did it by merely talking to the walls, subby. They cringed and buckled.

I thought it was from the copious amounts of bullshiat spewing from her mouth. It's like a cat piss house, the only way to fix is to strip it to the studs.

I would give Ms. Huffington my post.

I would do $275,000 worth of damage to Ms. Huffington.

I had Adblock on and the page was all jumbled.

Turned it off for that page, reloaded and everything came up fine.

So ... that $275,000 in damage is just $2,000 worth of damage to 'vintage' stuff?

ex-hubby Michael Huffington was a billionaire as the heir to the HuffCo oil and gas fortune, and they got divorced about the time he A) realized he was gay and B) was trying to still maintian his poltical career as a Republican.  I'm guessing there was a significant amount of hush money in that settlement

Rich people problems.

If I razed my house and the one next to it, I might do $275k of damage.

Maybe.

And I don't have to live in NYC either. So it's win/win.

Dude from the article describes quite a bit of damage that she claims doesn't exist. Then he's having it meticulously repaired at great expense. In the end it's going to come down to one side vs the other, what you can prove and what you can't, what's agreed upon, etc.

Not that anyone feels bad for one rich person angry at another rich person.
