Quantum Apostrophe: Living fossils? Like astronauts?

...

I...

I have to applaud you, here. That was... that was a 10/10. Short, to the point, no rambling, and perfectly in line with the character you've developed. Most poeple would mark you down for posting your anti-space nuttery in a totally unrelated thread, but it's the sheer Monty Python-esque surreal randomness that got me.

I expected anything up to and including the Spanish Inquisition. I was not expecting space hating nuttery. Good job!

You may be thinking of Pepsi and Mtn Dew throwback, which is delicious. I wouldn't want to eat anything with a *WORKING THIRD EYE*.

For buzzfeed and an article talking about living fossils, a term I generally despise, that actually did a pretty reasonable job of talking about cladistics, evolutionary relatedness, etc for its audience. Hell they even used the term basal, which is perfect.

I don't hate space. That would be insane, hating a vacuum. What I hate is the uncritical gee-wiz adulation you give glorified test pilots in rubber suits. Astronauts are as obsolete as lighthouse attendants.

Leave my family out of it, subby!

That's good, because neither you, nor anyone else is going anywhere. Might as well get along, eh?

That one was actually interesting.

With some animals virtually unchanged for -millions- of years, humans feel like such a mere blip on the timeline.

We are. That's why it's hilarious to see the hand-wringing some people do about "the species".

Buzzfeed links only ever give me about the first three pix on my phone. I'd almost rather it WAS a slideshow

Final pic, nightmare fuel. I really wish I hadn't seen an adorable deer with fangs this close to going to bed. Damn!
