If you pay the company $6,000, they beat your F-body Camaro with an ugly stick until it looks like a beached whale. Er, until it sort-of resembles a 1957 Chevy.

Yeah, that was the point I lost. The Belaro.

I want to know where they shop for BMW 3 series that you can get one for 16k? I just googled it and they run a lot more than that new, unless they have some insane depreciation.

You have to go back a few years, but the point still stands: an early 2000s M3 is far and away better than the POS in TFA.

Wow.  Although I've seen a couple of those before, the rest I hadn't.

Truly terrible.  They should have had a special mention for the Lamarossa though.

I think the Zonda looks pretty sweet.

Also, the beetle-camaro isn't too bad.

Apparently we have a pretty bad problem around here with certain guys trying to take early 2000's BMW 323's and converting them to faux M3's.

I can respect good body work even though there is a large amount of WTF were you thinking going on but I have got to say the Lamborghini Reventon Camaro  was the worst of the bunch.  The front end work is passingly done but omg the rear fenders look like a blind man tried to do the work.

I give that guy a pass.  He built it out of found materials, using little more than spit, duct tape and binder twine.

It's an interesting story.

Not that one, the one based off of the camaro, #3.  I can respect the China one.

I know a guy that was has one of these. He never finished it. It's just as well. It has a Type 1 VW pancake motor in it and it's slow as molasses. Ugly as sin, too.

This was my favorite replica car find.  There were far more pictures (which apparently no longer exist) but my favorite feature were the locks.  As I remember it, the door panels were brought out a few inches with wood & plaster so the key for the car was screwed to a long metal bar so it could actually reach the lock, which was tucked back behind the woodwork.

I'd drive that car. I'd replace the Porsche badges with something generic though 'cause it isn't fooling anyone, but it looks kinds cool.

The engine must've died from all that extra weight.  Well, also the douche-bag driving often found with such people.

Ive seent he trend as well. They seem to think they are as fast as M3s as well. It only takes a couple car lengths to remind them they arent.

Screw you guys! I would drive the shiat out of this car:

img.gawkerassets.com

/If it had a decent interior, and you know, windshields and shiat, and not not really shiatty mileage from being made of plate mail.
//has that Mad Max armored frankenstein vibe going on.
///absolutely would not give a shiat if it ever got dirty, or scratched
////of course, it would end up a rust bucket, would have to coat it with something

I would think that even if someone was briefly fooled while seeing it at a stop light, they would wonder why the car sounds like any other heavily abused economy car on the road.

The '49 Thunderbird cracked me right the hell up. I would love to have that.
