(Salon)   You're a Republican who posted wildly inaccurate anti-gay remarks on your Facebook page, including claims that gays are responsible for "half the murders in major cities." Do you (C) double-down on those remarks?   (salon.com) divider line 202

There are no studies that show this lifestyle is healthy nor better than one man and one woman, both for the couple and the kids.

I don't know that anyone has ever claimed it's better. All anyone wants is an admission that it's no worse. Having done that, there's no longer a reason to oppose it.

Why not? It's not like your constituents have either the intellectual capacity or the motivation to call you out on it

Michigan Republican National Committee leader Dave Agema continues to defend an article he shared on Facebook that suggests, among other outrageous claims, that gays and lesbians are responsible for "half the murders in major cities." Agema reponded to critics of the post by saying the piece was "worth sharing given the debate over gay marriage that is happening in the Supreme Court."

Yeah, well Jesus was just some guy who had a fetish for smoking dope and getting some action with whores. He probably got hung on the cross for doinking somebody's wife. This point should have been argued harder yesterday during Easter celebration.

Teach the Controversy!

Michigan Republicans are responsible for nearly 80% of all child molestation cases in the entire country. I once read an article that claimed that, and while I don't have the mental capacity to actually decide if the article's conclusion is supported by the evidence, I feel it's important to share with you all given the fact that David Agema, head of the Michigan RNC and possible kiddie toucher, is in the news right now.

Considering all the gay kids born to heterosexual parents, maybe being straight is the worse lifestyle choice.

GOP: 'what!?  you f*cking LOSERS!  you don't have the STONES to vote GOP!  yeah, that's right mamma's boy!  walk away...don't man up and pick the hard option...we didn't want you anyways!'

GOP: 'nah!  just kidding!  so...like...you gonna vote for us now or what?'
voters: [backs away slowly] 'um, sure!  i'll uh..get RIGHT on it! [runs away]

After trying to hide his ignorance and bigotry for several days, Dave Agema has finally admitted he seeks to promote hate, viciousness and vitriol instead of the Republican Party's traditional forward-looking message of equal opportunity for all. Dave Agema's extremism has no place in our Republican Party.

I don't know, that prejudice seems pretty on target for the Republican party.  Dave made the mistake of not using code words/being discrete which is the real problem here.

Pray, tell.  What "stupid crap" on the order of "teh gayz are baaaad because Jesus" have the Democrats been doubling-down upon?  Bonus points if you come up with a list of non-apologies by Dems that is even HALF as long as the GOPpers.
