Bald guy from some reality show pissed off that BLM won't give him a permit to film on BLM land, due to budget cuts, and it's all because of OMG REGULASHONS!!!!   It's all Fartbongo's Fault!

So other than the details of the haircut and the specific agency involved, it's exactly what you predicted.

1. Guy tries to get X from government/corporations
2. Govt./Corp. says no
3. Guy tries again
4. Government/corporation says no
5. Guy goes on TV/uploads a video to youtube asking for the public's help
6. Government/Corporation gives in

This tends to happen quite oft. The internet is filled with cry babies.

I watch his show from time to time, weak, harmless entertainment.

But knowing that he went on Mark Levin's radio show and ranted, and then spends time talking with Steve Doocy?

I don't know if I can get past that for what is definitely not on my top 50 currently airing TV shows list.

Similar to how I can't watch reruns of Jim'll Fix It, you know?

ShawnDoc: Wait, the Obama administration is stepping in to stop new reality shows from being created?  Time to repeal the 22nd amendment!

Thing is is that Obama appoints the respective leaders of government agencies. The Executive is the ultimate controlling authority on every government agency.

The Government is his ship. He is the Captain. Captain is always responsible for his crew are they not?

This is yet another case where the derps will hang on every word some D-list celebrity on a shiatty "reality" show says, then say that Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, et al should keep their politics to themselves, because no one cares about celebrities' political opinions.

He wanted to film on federal land. Feds told him no. They aren't giving out permits (which are fee based) because of sequestration. So he wanted to give the Feds money and employ about a hundred people. He thought it was a bunch of BS. And he was biatching that he had to hire a consulting firm to figure out what he has to do to comply with the new health care laws. Wrapped it up by saying back in the 1980's it was a lot easier to start a business compared to today. He blamed local govt for that.

I guess you didn't watch the interview.  He never mentions the President.  He complains about the Bureau of Land Management because he couldn't get a permit to film on federal lands, and he says he had to hire a consultant to help his business get into compliance with new health care regulations.  I guess he should smile and say how much he loves Mama Government.

Actually, just based on some of the things the experts discuss from some of the historical artifacts, art, books and knick knacks people come in to sell, "Pawn Stars" may have more to do with history than anything else currently on the History Channel.

Harrison may not have mentioned The President, but Doocey was quite happy to throw out "Obamacare" whenever he felt the need to fire up Fox's base.

To claim that this wasn't framed as an indictment of The President is disingenuous or obtuse. Take your pick.

Yes, Doocey used the phrase "Obamacare."  Harrison didn't specifically complain about the President.  He just said there were a lot of new regulations going into effect that would require his business to comply with and they were getting outside help to make sure they did so.  If you want to be upset and angry about it, that's up to you.
