In their formative years Hendrix, Clapton, and Paige all learned from Guy. Hendrix once said his idea of heaven was sitting and listening to Guy play.

I saw Buddy play about 15 years ago. He was 63 at the time had a wireless setup and was all over the place! walking through the crowd, sitting in the seats playing. Great show, except for the crowd. They just sat there not giving anything back to him, and it was pissing him off.

Mr. Guy played down the road in a theater built in the 20's a year or so ago 1500 crowd and he tore it up.
(just down the road from curt cobain's hometown). awsome is an understatement.

Got my tickets to go see Buddy and George Thorogood at Red Rocks in August.  Super stoked to go see Buddy.  He's one of my favorite players of all time.

That was fun, but a bit short. Throw another hour on the end of that, and it'll be just about right.
