I feel shocked.

I wish the whole cast had ODed when they found out that the series had been picked up for its first season.

The first season was fine.  It was the back half of the second season where it went full retard.

Don't watch the actual show, but I really enjoy 'The Glee Project.'

I heard it was "Freaks & Geeks" awesome in the first season. Then the network and the cool kids took it over.

I understand, but there still is the occasinal song worth watching, Darren Criss' cover of "Against All Odds" the other night, for instance.
Now, if anyone from Glee is a Farker, I'd love to see someone cover Natalie Cole's version of "Lucy in the Sky" for the inevitable "I need rehab" realization scene.

I watched until about six months ago. I was loathing it (aside from some great songs). I just gave up because it wasn't even fun to hatewatch.

That's more or less it. The knee-jerks (you know, the ones that catch the last five seconds of a thirty second spot and make their entire assessment based on just that) wrote it off as High School Musical: The Series, but they couldn't have been more wrong. That first half of the first season liked its comedy dark. It was the anti-HSM, a satire of that kind of thing. The problem was that there ended up being a huge tween/teen audience who thought the same as those knee-jerks and the parody went straight over their heads. When it came back from Christmas hiatus, you could already see the changes being dictated by the network to cater to that audience. By the time they hit the 1/3 mark of the second season, it had become exactly what it was making fun of. It started out as a truly great show, but it's pretty much unwatchable now.

I am so glad this is an article about them going to rehab, and not actually covering a Rehab song. I would have been pissed. Though them doing "Sitting at a Bar" or "rattle My Cage" could have been amusing.

The tried to make me watch that show
and I said
No no no

Does this mean Fox will finally be getting up and make the Kickin' It Broadway show we first saw on The Simpsons?

Glee actually HAS covered Rehab. My choir has performed the 'Glee' version. It was fun.

/don't watch the show.

I still watch it because they do have some decent musical numbers still and I'm stubborn when it comes to giving up on a show.  But there have been several episodes in the last two seasons that I have just fast forwarded through the show and only watched the musical numbers.

Maybe not as awesome but definitely hit a lot of the same notes.

first season = Freaks & Geeks: The Musical

later seasons = "Screw engaging storylines and likeable characters. We've got iTunes to sell, people."

Didn't they do Rehab in the pilot episode?

FTFA:   Monteith stars as Finn Hudson on the Fox show. He dates his co-star, Lea Michele. She told People that she loves and supports Monteith and is proud he's going to rehab.

Uhh, "glad" he's going to rehab might be more apt, but "proud"?

I have a confidential source who tells me otherwise.  He had a slighted boyfriend the first time he went to rehab.

Proud that he's taking responsibility to solve his problem rather than ending up like the cast of Diff'rent Strokes.  I'd say that's fair.

Didn't he date Taylor Swift? That always makes me wonder about a guy not named John Mayer.

If I were on that show I would constantly be thinking "don't f this up" as high school stars have a very short shelf life.

He may be a nice guy, but the show is infinitely better without him on it.
