Like Google-Earth but you know... Mars.

Cool tag is legit.

I like the old ones with the "canals" and cities better.

More realistic.

Out of curiosity?

So I don't care about not getting the greenlight even though I submitted it earlier in the day (well maybe a bit). But it does suck that the Daily Mail gets the clickthrough when I linked directly to the source

This is the second best thing on Fark today after those pictures of Kate Beckinsale.

So... who thinks the April 4-May 1 blackout will trigger a conspiracy theory involving martians?

We're sure this isn't North Dakota?

Looks like things haven't changed much since the Viking photos from the mid-1970's.

Money well spent, I guess.

WOW, that is one of the coolest things I have ever seen.
Looking down at curiosity is also fascinating.
WOW, just WOW

For some reason the Daily Fail is less graphics intensive. The original site lags quite a bit...almost as if I was on Pluto.

But my build is more than 5 years old....with mid-range components from that time.

Still looks like I-10 between Phoenix and Blythe.

Thank goodness you're here. I thought we were about to have a nice, shiatter-free Astronomy thread. But I guess it's just not Fark without a someone without any other interests arriving to vomit pointless "libtard" platitudes. Thank you for your wisdom and insight. You are a treasure.

I believe the DailyMail also pays to be featured on Fark, so their money trumps the original creator getting hits.

I also submitted the 360 Cities link to this with a headline that certainly was not worse than what was greenlighted.

It's amazing how much the sun on Mars looks just like ours.

Looks kinda like Canyonlands or Lake Powell only without the water or canyon. What does a guy have to do to get a drink around there? (Same question I have to ask when I'm in Utah.)
