(Hardball Talk)   Miami Marlins opening day lineup to include the peanut vendor, ticket-taker and the team mascot. Okay, maybe not, as those might be an upgrade   ( divider line

I'm gonna keep saying this.  The Marlins will be better than expected.

Not by much, but better than expected.  ~70 wins.

Watch out for Rob Brantly, the catcher - I saw that guy get some big hits in spring training this year, and I can see him easily hitting .285+ with 15-20 homers.

But other than him and Stanton, yeah, these guys suck.

u could buy tickets for marlins games for $0.75 on stub hub last year. had to pay 5 bux in ticket fees!
they still dont let you move up at the stadium!

No, Subby, what's sad is that the Mariners are paying $9 million this year to a guy the Marlins released in spring training.

Man, the Nats really better not fark this one up.  Given how much knob-slobbering has been going on in the Washington Post throughout spring training, I am worried the players are buying into the hype.  The Marlins have been getting laughed at for months and they might just come out angry wanting to shut everyone up.  If I were a betting man, I would still lay my money on the Nats this afternoon, but I am definitely not declaring them the victors prematurely.
/Personally, I hope the Nats win in extra innings, so I can dodge the stadium traffic when I leave work at 4:00.  Opening day traffic always sucks...
