Listening to the video, she said wind speeds up to 175 miles per hour...
 
That's either a Cat 3 hurricane using performance enhancing drugs or the biggest tornado the world has ever seen.
 
Or perhaps she thought kph was a typo on the teleprompter.

I am not a climate scientist. I do not collect or present any evidence of global warming. I do occasionally cite their peer reviewed papers though.
 
Scientists have predicted that extreme whether events will become more common but they do not point at individual storms as evidence. It takes on the order of 30 years to be confident of any patterns in climate.
