The young Barrie man was arrested for assault with intent to resist arrest and was taken to the station.

That's sad; when you're so punch-drunk and wasted that you can't even resist arrest properly.

When I worked for a police department for a smallish college city (50k or so population) we had a couple of 30 something knuckleheads that were doing some martial arts training and thought there were some sort of badass ninjas or something go down to the college bar district in town seeking the biggest, baddest guys they could so they could test their skills or something.

Anyway, long CSB short, they found about half of the defensive line from the football team. It did not end well for the ninjas that day.
/Funny set of booking photos, though.
//Witnesses all confirmed they started it
///Slashies come in threes, but I have nothing more to add.

Tito was actually top tier back in the day. This guy reminds me of the LARPing frauds like Scott Morris

It's a safe assumption that if someone brags about their martial arts skills, they don't have any.

For the life of me, I still can't figure out if those guys are serious or were actually auditioning for a comedy movie. And I've seen that clip several times.

For some reason I thought it would be the Pimp vs Karate instructor.

They were directly quoting policemen. If you have a reasonable IQ you don't get the career option of law enforcement.

Not entirely true. I tell people all the time that i do martial arts. Of course i also follow it up with "but im not that good"
just to avoid looking like a wanker

"intent to resist arrest"?  WTF is that? If he actually resisted arrest, obviously he intended to....and if he didn't actually resist arrest, why does it matter whether he wanted to or not? I'm no friend of drunk idiots, but come on.

Muhammad Ali would like a word.

Ability to fight and aggression often correlate strongly, and confidence can be earned justly as well as misplaced. People who learn to fight in order to not do so are mostly fictional characters. Your assumption is dangerous.

Some years ago, the current mayor of Binghamton, NY led the Vestal place on a low speed chase before fleeing on foot, screaming "stay away from me, I have a black belt" or something to that effect. It didn't work then, it obviously doesn't work now.
