The My Little Pony Killer: Folks, when you are out in public, you have no reasonable expectations to personal privacy. Somebody might be recording you on their cell phone and you wouldn't be able to do a damn thing about it (unless you're an ITG and want to pretend that you'd beat them up or break their camera), the google glass isn't going to be very different.  Only difference being that the people recording you will look like total jackasses now.

Perhaps I'm misremembering California law about audio/video recordings but as I recall it would be a felony to use these glasses in most no public places.  Further, use in even a public space would come with a whole lot of strings attached.
/as always before doing anything likely to get you sued consult a laywer with experience in that specific area
//try to avoid farkers with a GED in law from the Qwerty School of Law

'Fire is hot, dude. Didn't you know that? What's the big deal?'

What cocktail of drugs do I need to eat to understand that logic?

You're being recorded. Right now. Deal with it.

Okay.

Any other advice or commands?

Yes. Cease and desist using shiatty analogies.

Do you walk around with your cell phone out, pointing it at everything you look at 100% of the time? If you do then yes, Ima break your shiat. Doesn't matter if you are recording or not.

Put that shiat down and away.

Now.

You look stupid waving that thing around all the time. Put it in your pocket. You're not even recording anything.

So...you go up to random people on their phones and break them?  You haven't been out in public much in the past 10 years, have you?  This is normal behavior.

First it is assumed that I want to assault people. Now it is assumed that I want to break your phones.

I want to break your shiat.

Slang. It's been around longer than your need to walk around with your cell phone out pointing it at everything you are looking at even when you aren't recording anything.

There is no room for assumption here.   You admit "Imma break your shiat."  This is pretty cut and dry.

Good. You should be paranoid about it. You're going to film the wrong person.

By the way. What I said is cut and dry so that when people like you try to come back and say I said something I didn't it shows. 'Ima break your shiat' is carefully placed so people like you CAN'T say that I am going around telling people that I am going to assault them. I would say that.

You should expect that people are going to break your shiat when you have that stupid phone pointed at everything you are looking at even when you aren't recording anything because it looks stupid. Put it away.

Mental medications? No.

Do you walk around with your cell phone pointed at everything you are looking at 100% of the time?

It's actually a really easy question.

Since you haven't answered or even denied it, I am ASSUMING that the answer is yes simply because you are equating using Google Glass to your cell phone as if they are the same things. The same way you are assuming that I go around assaulting people and breaking their cellphones.

On the other had you might answer 'No' you DON'T walk around with your cell phone out 100% of the time and realize that I am not even talking about you at all and you went off and made this whole damn thing way more complicated than it actually is.

This is what I like the most about you. Your ability to get right to the point.

Why don't we have an expectation of privacy?  There's a difference, I think we could agree, between these two cases:  First, someone taking a photo of their friend on the beach, and innocently catching bystanders in the background - the photo is posted to facebook.  Second, someone with a high-power telephoto camera taking pictures of women sunning on the beach - the photos are posted to a sexual website.

We so often talk about intent when it comes to criminal matters.  The intent in the first case is to take a photo of your friend.  The intent in the second is to sexualize, without consent, a stranger.  Our current system of 'zero expectations of privacy when in public' ignores the consent of the women being harassed by photographers.  Wouldn't you agree that there is a malicious intent towards the second case?

Do you honestly believe Google Glass is going to come equipped with a high-power telephoto camera? That's your serious argument?

Surprisingly, I found a reference on that:

"The profit margin for a bat sold to a retail outlet is about 20 percent, Gregory said, compared with 15 percent for bats sold to professionals."
