We are most likely alone in this universe, or the distances are to great for real interaction of alien species.  It is most likely our future selves toying with time, or parallel  universe interplay.

OK. Please describe the process or technology that your space friends use to come here. Unless you have blueprints, all you have is a religion. Look, I believe that life must be common in the universe, since I believe that the same physical and chemical laws apply to all. But that also means we can't go there, they can't get here. End of story.

Are our brains that different from humans 1000 years ago?

Still, kudos to the ISS... it IS better than the special effects from Farpoint Station episodes...

it is a Sprite (Lightning)...
it is not close at all the the iSS
if you were to draw the shortest line possible from the Sprite to the Earth, it's contact point with Earth would be far beyond the horizon.
they occure 25 - 70 miles up in the atmosphere and can be up to 35 miles accross when viewed from above.
The ISS orbits between 200 and 275 miles altitude

Mikeyworld: ransack.: If one possesses "cloaking" technology, why would one ever choose to "de-cloak"?

I guess I can't pretend to understand extraterrestrial logic.

Maybe you have to de-cloak to take a dump. Otherwise the dump would be cloaked and that's not a good thing...to have cloaked poop floating, nilly-willy, through space. Especially if it's at a crowded space-time.

My god man you may have found a explanation for the so called dark matter.
