Looks good.

"Bonache" (bone-atch) is a word our son made up when he was 3 to describe many, many things.  We have no idea either...

Things that make his penis itch, subby.  Might want to see a pediatrician and a shrink.

Awww the Hatch Chili one is sold out :(

I was going to ask if it were pronounced 'bone ache'

Weird. Try it again, please, it's not coming up that way for me and we're not sold out. What exactly did it tell you and on what page? Would like to figure out why the site told you that. Thanks for any feedback!

The button didn't do anything when I clicked, so I assumed it meant it was sold out. It could be something funky with my work's firewall. I'll just wait till I get home.

Those look cool. But like so many products, probably won't be marketed to in Canada.

/we need more hot sauce, because it's cold here.

I ordered a bottle of habanero. I like the bright orange color. Looks tangy. Hope it's not too vinegar-y (not a huge fan of Tabasco-style hot sauces).

Hey, Doc...We go through a lot of hot sauce on our lunch breaks at work, but not the really hot stuff. If you can recommend something along the hotness-level of Tobasco or Tapatio, I'll be happy to buy a couple of bottles. We'll give it a try...

It's spelled bone ache, but it's pronounced "Throatwobbler Mangrove."

I just ordered one of each, and found out that they ship to Canada.  AFAIK, they aren't in stores yet anywhere.

I don't want any. I like oatmeal.

They are all near or below that level of hot.

If you're looking for more flavor than hot the Hatch is the way to go. It's our mildest and has great flavor, but definitely has some heat. Next up is the Habanero, which has a bit more kick but while still maintaining balanced flavor. The Socorro is the hottest one, it's in the heat range of those two sauces, maybe a bit hotter. Still full of flavor.

I've been reaching for the Socorro myself.

Our food safety guy chuckled at me when I brought up the idea of international distribution. In short, you're right. Not at first.

I don't know... I usually make a pretty amazing hotsauce out of ketchup and a packet of powdered ranch, but I suppose I'll try something new.  Ordering a bottle of Hatch now.

What's your return policy if I don't find this more palatable than ranch ketchup?

Can't order anything right now, I'm moving next weekend and don't want it to go to the wrong address (there if I'm still here, here if I'm already there), but I loves me some hot sauce and will order some after the move.

Thanks for the reply. Just ordered a 6 oz. bottle of the Hatch, and a 6 oz bottle of the Habanero. If my co-workers like it, I'll direct them to your site.

Hey Doctor!

1) Signed on to your email list
2) Why does the site say 'From 3.99' but the pricing is all $4.99? Does that include shipping?

Select the 3oz bottle and the price will change to reflect. Defaults to the 6oz.

I already figured that one out.  When you get to the shopping cart portion, you can select smaller bottles that are 3.99.  It doesn't include shipping, on the 4.99 bottle it came to 9.99 after shipping.

Food safety laws in Canada are mostly aligned with the USA and have been in the past much less stringent, with some wierd exceptions like not allowing you to just throw caffeine in everything (this has been lessened of late)

That being said, your hot sauce has a long way to go to beat Sriracha, which is the choice condiment for me.

Smaller bottles actually $3.50

Boneache?  You need some blue sauce.

Shipping is a little steep. It looks like it adds the same amount regardless of how many bottles you get. $20 for three bottles more than doubled the price.

Crap. Ignore that last post. Apparently, you need to specify country, state, and zip. Not just zip. Why?

$5 is totally reasonable.

Is there actual Hatch pepper in the Hatch pepper sauce? That's an awful big deal for green chili down here, and if so, I am sold.

Whitey Bear: Is there actual Hatch pepper in the Hatch pepper sauce? That's an awful big deal for green chili down here, and if so, I am sold.

It sure does. One concern as we start to grow is securing enough of them.

MrEricSir: Is there really a city named Ballard in Washington? If so, that's quite confusing.

Ballard is a neighborhood in Seattle with it's own little downtown area. Seattle is compartmentalized that way and has a number of such areas with their own bar, food, and entertainment scenes.

itsdan: No sampler pack with 1 of each flavor?

Good point. There should be. We'd actually discussed it and talked about special packaging and that's were it got held up, but yeah, no reason it couldn't be available on the website as a single click purchase.

That's what I was wondering about Canada. The food guy told a story about France not being exactly friends with the FDA. We meet with him again Monday and selling to Canada is on the list of things to specifically ask about. We'd have to up the shipping charge though.

Sriracha, I hear you. The bar is high. Somehow, though, we've got a few Socorro addicts that have compared us to them. The flavor isn't the same, but apparently their lust for it compares. Pretty amazing compliment. We'll see if it holds.

I'm a Socorro addict myself. Had to go to Hattie's Hat after posting this and get a cheeseburger and fries to douse in the stuff. (Hattie's has it on the tables, and you can also buy it there, cash only).

SomeoneDumb: Didn't Pud try this with farkedCompany?

F*ckedcompany.com was a favourite site for a while when it was early 2001 and I was in California. The meltdown of the dot-com industry was fun to watch, because so many sites were just not ready for primetime but all felt they could make loads of make-believe money.

Someone there came up with my favourite quote about PETS.COM, which was an online pet supplies delivery service: You can order your pet food and kitty litter online then spend the next two weeks waiting for it to arrive while your kitty shiats everywhere and slowly starves.

When you start looking into international, if you get your labels to meet EU, Canadian and Aussie rules, then you can ship them nearly anywhere in the world.

Also UPS and Fed Ex have nasty prices for shipping to most countries and USPS works better.
