There's nothing anti-libertarian about the government prosecuting murderers. In fact, it's a necessary government function.

Lets just define being a Libertarian as murder.  It makes more sense than pretending that abortion is murder.
Then we can prosecute all the Libertarians.

Real American Freedom doesn't include women.  Or brown people.

Duh.

And a state where the state Medical Association has come out against the bill, saying it will force doctors to leave the state as they are now liable for criminal prosecution if any embryo fails.  They've be guilty of murder, so doctors are fleeing the state.

This is the libertarian idea of freedom: government laws so oppressive they force businesses to leave the state due to massively overbearing regulations.

There is no bigger hypocrite than a libertarian.

And as an aside, is there a reason the link to the actual organization was rejected?  You know, the one that already had discussion in it?

I can't imagine why any obstetrician who can get a job out of state wouldn't flee that hellhole.

What strikes me most about this map, and others I've seen like it, is that the libertarian conception of freedom seems to have almost no correlation to where people choose to live. That's not a great advertisement for libertarianism.

No no no, that's not how you say it.

The right phrasing is "Double plus ungood" otherwise Big Brother will unpay your wages an depromote you to a unhigher rank.

http://www.lp.org/platform

We hold that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose.

Individuals should be free to make choices for themselves and to accept responsibility for the consequences of the choices they make. No individual, group, or government may initiate force against any other individual, group, or government. Our support of an individual's right to make choices in life does not mean that we necessarily approve or disapprove of those choices.

Sexual orientation, preference, gender, or gender identity should have no impact on the government's treatment of individuals, such as in current marriage, child custody, adoption, immigration or military service laws. Government does not have the authority to define, license or restrict personal relationships. Consenting adults should be free to choose their own sexual practices and personal relationships.

1.4 Abortion
Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration.

Etc, Etc, sleezy republicans in libertarians clothing.

Yeah, I saw that and thought, really? North Dakota? wut? And New Hampshire fell to #4 behind even Tennessee.

FTA:  They do weigh "'smoker protection' in employment," though. (I think they are  in favor of laws barring companies from firing smokers. Isn't that the government interfering with the employer's Freedoms?

Yes it is, and John Stossel would be very displeased. (Dammit, kind find the clip where he tells smokers "give me a break" for suing when they were fired for being smokers.)

AFTA:  Looking at the list, it's clear that most Americans have "voted with their feet" and chosen to live primarily in our least free states. Bottoming out the list are California, the second-least free and most populous state, and New York, third in population and dead last in liberty.

Are people really "voting with their feet" to move into CA? Eh, maybe from Mexico. Are people flocking to New York? No, it's always been one of the most populous states. And people usually don't move somewhere because of how they feel about "liberty" there. Hell, most people don't actually care about liberty in their day to day lives. They don't really think about it.

You don't have to have an abortion, if you believe that fetuses are children. That is your choice.  Others do not believe that a fetus is an independent individual.

The church did not believe the unborn had souls until the quickening.  Others believed that there was no soul until the baby breathed outside of the womb and has it's first cry.

Like his father, the son also favors notions of limited government. "Libertarian would be a good description," Rand Paul told CNN, "because libertarians believe in freedom in all aspects of your life - your economic life as well as your social life as well as your personal life."

I see he is not a "libertarian" the word is just a "good description" for him?
