I'm not footing the bill for that trial,

2013-03-28 04:41:23 PM
Oh god that's horrible, that pun is almost as bad as the murder attempt.

If you want to get rid of someone that is extra stinky, just put odor eaters into their shoes.
They'll take 2 steps and disappear. .

2013-03-28 05:25:11 PM
So the flat foots gave a lift to the heel, right?

2013-03-28 05:27:37 PM
I think he needs to do some sole searching.

Hate to leg my way into the middle of such a nice punfest, but I call bullshiat on the article. Three points:
1) So the Crazy Stalker Guy puts hydrofluoric acid in his victim's shoes... and it doesn't eat a hole in them. What the fark, do Japanese make their shoes entirely out of plastic or something?
2) Hydrofluoric acid stinks. I'm pretty sure no shoes can be made to smell so bad as to mask HF's odor.
3) Also, there's something really weird about how the crime happened last December and the guy was only arrested today. It's not like he could have stayed under the cops' radar, being the victim's stalker and all; plus, his choice of murder weapon could not be any less subtle - shipments of chemicals are regulated everywhere, and it's relatively hard to get a can of industrial-grade solvent(except for water) without writing your name on a piece of paper somewhere.

Guy must have seen too many 60's vintage Batman shows. That sounds like a Mad Hatter trick.

Ah! HF acid :b
Great way to melt your skin off. Brrrrr...

AND NOW FOR SCIENCE: hydrofluoric acid (HF)  interferes with nerve function, meaning that burns may not initially be painful. Accidental exposures can go unnoticed, delaying treatment and increasing the extent and seriousness of the injury. Once absorbed into blood through the skin, it reacts with blood calcium and may cause cardiac arrest. Burns with areas larger than 25 square inches have the potential to cause serious systemic toxicity from interference with blood and tissue calcium levels.

/now you know, bouya...

HF gets absorbed through your skin, but you don't notice it for hours later.   It attacks your bones as an oxidiser basically dissolving them.   Definitely the worst acid I've worked with in the semiconductor industry.  Nitric burns the worst, sulfuric is bad, so is hydrochloric but they all rinse off eventually.   if you get sulfuric on your clothes and don't notice you will see where it splashed after you put the clothes through your washing machine.   Dumbass kid working for me showed up with half his waistband eaten away and his underwear band hanging out.

"Man tries to kill his arch nemesis" would have been HOTY. Good pun but botched the execution.

After reading the headline I was wondering if Farkers would think it was an HOTY candidate, which I didn't quite feel it was, or simply a corny pun.

And the picture in the Boobies had me laughing for 10 minutes. Good on ya, Fark.
