"I set my cruise control to 75" is a valid defense? I plan to try that out tonight.

I'll be sure to wave to everyone as the news choppers get footage of the PA State Police mercilessly pummeling me on the interstate as I scream "BUT MY CRUISE CONTRAAAAAIIIEEEEEEEE MY SKULL BONE!!!!"

Amos Quito: hardinparamedic: In fact, it's ridiculously simple to get a special issue tag for almost any cause. All you have to do is have the design approved and have 1000 people willing to commit to it's purchase.

Yes, some tags have special meaning, like Emergency or judicial, but there are hundreds of specialist plates out there.

I want diplomat tags for my vehicles. Lots of "special privileges" and immunities attached.

Who do I write to get these, "hardinparamedic"?

Yes, damn Democratic corruption! It not like it says in the article the legislator was Rep. Charles McBurney, R-Jacksonville... errr.

General rule of thumb: they'll show the "R" for republican, but if they don't mention their political affiliation at all, thems' a Dem.

Just like in this article?  FTFA, "The list includes Reps. Darryl Rouson, D-St. Petersburg; Halsey Beshears, R-Monticello; Seth McKeel, R-Lakeland; Bryan Nelson, R-Apopka (twice); Reggie Fullwood, D-Jacksonville (twice); Alan Williams, D-Tallahassee; and Clovis Watson, D-Miami.

farking shiatstain with your persecution complex.

Don't you get it though?  Four Republicans are mentioned and four Democrats.  THIS CANNOT STAND!  We need a tiebreaker, now more than ever.  The standings are currently a dead heat.  I mean really, how else will we know what the proper role of government is?

FTA: "Swindle said he was "trying to be nice" last Nov. 19 when he spared Rep. Charles McBurney, R-Jacksonville, a $250 ticket for speeding on Interstate 10 in Madison as the lawmaker and his wife headed to Tallahassee in a Toyota with a special tag that identified him as a legislator."

These "special tags" - what do they look like?

I think such information should be highly publicized to make it easy for everyday ordinary citizens to recognize their "betters".

Anyone got a pic?

I wonder if that legislator understands the fact that he's just painted a giant target on the back of his head and every cop in 100 mile radius is going to be aiming at it.

Cop wasn't exactly corrupt... He's just stuck playing a corrupt game.

Legislator is too farking stupid to be trusted with his job if these are the types of decisions he makes.   I wish the cops nothing but success in their new sport.
