An Esquire article was faked?  I think I need to sit down...

2013-03-28 08:18:24 AM
Couldn't have happened to a better publication.

2013-03-28 08:18:27 AM
Now it seems the core of the story is wrong as well.

Deliciously wifelike.

2013-03-28 08:21:36 AM
Also... repeat is repetitious and subturds headline is inaccurate... unless I'm missing something.

/only skimmed TFA

2013-03-28 08:23:39 AM
So the SEAL was 2 guys? Because that's what the actual words say in the article.

2013-03-28 08:26:00 AM
And I thought his life went downhill after losing Heidi Klum.  Poor guy just can't catch a break.

2013-03-28 08:26:11 AM
Vague and misleading headline is vague and misleading, subby.  "The SEAL in the article" must refer to TFA, not the Esquire article.  Subtard.

2013-03-28 08:28:18 AM
Heidi Klum was the shooter.

2013-03-28 08:30:43 AM
Subby's headline about an article was debunked....in the article. Awwwkward.

2013-03-28 08:35:02 AM
I debunk both of them. I am the SEAL that shot Bin Laden.

/Also, I am Spartacus.

2013-03-28 09:01:57 AM
"Quiet Professionals," my ass.

2013-03-28 09:17:43 AM
So...

according to a different SEAL who is the same SEAL subby says he is even though the SEAL debunking it is different according to the article

Makes sense subby

Mass confusion, dogs and cats living together, hysteria in the streets...seems like a perfectly good way for the DevGRU to foil all future plans of talkie-talkers from profiting from their stories:  Letting the media take the heat for publishing BS stories so that they won't want to go pursuing future stories and leave DevGRU and the rest of special forces alone.

MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!  I love their strategy.

Why did they let this dumbass even go on the raid?

Who gives a fark which one was the shooter. They are ALL heroes and ALL deserve a lifetime of gratitude and support. It's a travesty our pussy legislators let any members of our special forces be without basic needs (healthcare, a decent paycheck) after all the time a sacrifice they give in service to our country. One decade of service in the Teams is worth a lifetime in the senate. fark Congress.

Imma need to see the shooter's long form shooting certificate to be sure.

Once again, doesn't the military penalize special forces for talking about this stuff?

2013-03-28 10:31:05 AM
...just passing through to see who this would matter to...

2013-03-28 10:35:09 AM
Guess when the Seal Team 6 guys were told to lie about it, they got their lies mixed up.

2013-03-28 10:43:16 AM
The Shooter was booted off an exclusive SEAL Team for bragging at bars that he was the guy who killed bin Laden.

Wow Rob Riggle predicted the future.

When I read the response by the editor, if true it's CNN that is full of poop, and they need to look into why they are getting played. I think someone at CNN needs to get to the bottom or perhaps top of this. Paging Anderson Cooper.

A guy crazy enough to eat pieces of shiat for breakfast is EXACTLY the type you want charging into dangerous situations.

Next time they will be sending Seal Team Seven. There is no "I" in "Seal Team Seven."

pciszek: Once again, doesn't the military penalize special forces for talking about this stuff?

Probably, but whatever the punishment is the millions of dollars you can get by talking about it anyway outweighs that.

You didn't really believe that shiat, did you?

You mean an amazingly heroic story that has "The Shooter" killing three people in two rooms all by himself while the rest of the team just stood there and watched might not be accurate?

Who'dathunk?

And that simple truth right there is why all conspiracy theories are bullshiat.

They're supposed to.

Then again, when I went intel, my OIC told our guys they were required to attend a "voluntary" recruitment briefing for Delta Force. To paraphrase her, "you're 'invited' to a 'voluntary' recruitment briefing that the commander has stated that you will go to unless you are on your death bed for a group that 'doesn't exist'. Have fun."

With the ubiquitousness of 24 hour news and embedding reporters and all that other nonsense, it was only a matter of time...
