This is technically a repeat, but this headline is much better than yesterday's.  So I'll let it slide.

Bah!  When I was a little girl I had to go to school with an arrow in BOTH knees!  And I was grateful to walk uphill both ways in the snow to get to my unheated one-room schoolhouse.

Kids today, so soft....

Damn I hate that kid. I had to install a mod that let the children be killed just to wipe her off the face of Tamerial.

This would not have happened if she had a gun.

Maybe it was a repeating crossbow.

Berkeley needs to build an Iron Dome type system to prevent this sort of thing.

When I was a kid I did the classic stupid kids-with-a-bow game of standing in the middle of a field, shooting an arrow straight up, and running like crazy. It was a cheap thrill, I guess, and luckily none of us got hit. But one time I shot it up and I swear it never came down; it was in the middle of a soccer field and nobody saw it come down.

So I live my life as if any moment that arrow will come back to get me.

Just another subby here to lick my father's boots. Good job.

How exactly IS a Third grade girl used to enjoy field trips?

Wasn't me. Not only do I live too far away, but the snow has not even melted yet here.
I prefer a tactical bow, blackened out, with a high capacity quiver.

CSB:

I was playing Skyrim and had purposely dropped some low grade arrows I didn't need in the street in Whiterun. One of the civilians comes along and steps on one of the arrows which promptly flips up and sticks itself in his leg. He calmly reaches down and pulls the arrow out of his leg, walks over to me, and says something to the effect of, "Here, I think you dropped this."

I took me some time to stop laughing.

/love that game
