Makes me think of the Killdozer that did a little damage a few miles from here.

You live near where that happened? I can't imagine how surreal it must have been to be around when that happened.

Hahaha, I love how the blinker/alarm is still going off when its only a foot high.

It was a little weird and vaguely surprising, but damn that dude had got screwed. Everyone who knew the story was rooting for him.

I'm not sure that a man who had a hit list, and shot at people should be lionized.

True justice is bloody. If someone takes your life away, they have killed you, even if you are still alive.

I don't pretend to know what was going on, but by all accounts the man was grievously wronged by some people and had no legal recourse. What else can you do when the system fails you but try a new system?

And he didn't kill anyone or shoot at anyone. He just destroyed property.

Defenders of Heemeyer contended that he made a point of not hurting anybody during his bulldozer rampage;[1] Ian Daugherty, a bakery owner, said Heemeyer "went out of his way" not to harm anyone.

The only dissenting views offered are from the police. Of course they have to take an anti-criminal line. He didn't shoot any of them, although they at shot him.

Has to be fake.  As flat as the front end of the car is, there's no way there was an engine in there before it was run over.

The lack of yelling, screaming and the nonchalant way the cameraman walk to the car and video taped it without making any comments also leaves me to believe that this planed. I mean you just watched a car get smashed by a front-end loader and you say nothing, not even one expletive.

That should buff out

Wrong spelling, but still true.

I'm not one to go fake, but FAKE. The reactions and the front-end cinched it.

I'm not 100% sure of the make of car, but couldn't it have been a mid-engine type?  Mmmm, on second view, yeah, looks staged.

Note the way the tires on the dozer pop up as they go over the hood. If there's no engine there, what raised them up? The axle for the wheels perhaps, but I doubt it.

Also, the lights and alarm system are on... Did they rig that up to go off somehow? I get this strange feeling that if I remove the whole engine from my car that those things will stop working... Since the battery is sorta attached to it and all.

Now it could be fake, but it's not fake for that reason.

I could see a 4 cylinder engine get pummeled into the ground by something that heavy. And like randomjsa mentioned, there was a working alarm system. So much missing context. :(

Yep. But just in case.

Looks like a Mercedes Benz, but it isn't in a parking area - it's in the Middle of an open area well away from everything else.  If the guy was a jerk and was going to park just anywhere, you'd think that he would pull up close to his destination - not out in the middle of a work area where big vehicles are likely to roam.

Also the fact that it started to roll shows that it did not have a transmission and the engine compartment is the same height as the rest of the car, so there's no engine block.  (if this payloader was heavy enough to flatten an engine, then it would be too heavy for the pneumatic tires.)
