Type40: John Rhys Davies has been an extremely prolific actor for over 40 years, he was in two Indiana Jones Movies, at least one James Bond and Played Gimli in all Three Lord of the Rings movies. I'll thank you not to refer to him as "The dude from Sliders".

Actually i had an idea for a sketch where at big red carpet events you call stars over for the quick interviews but introduce them only by obscure works or total bombs.

Like Lawrence Fishburne isn't "morpheus from the matrix" he's "that guy from that one of those episodes of mash with the racism"

And Marg Helgenburger isn't that "cathrine from csi" shes "that chick from species"

And elijah wood isn't frodo -- he's the kid from "flipper"

I just thought it would be a good red carpet shtick... Cool schtick bro?

there4igraham: I'm convinced that the repetitive nature of much of the DW dialogue is to sell more merchandise with said quotes on them. It's like repeating the name of the product as many times as possible in a commercial.

This message brought to you by Lunesta. While taking Lunesta do not take Lunesta. Lunesta.

I think you hit that Head On.

gadian: I think it was written by / for kids. Part of a contest.

Wait, Love and Monsters was written by a child as part of a contest, and it included a guy talking about getting sucked off by disembodied head stuck in a slab of sidewalk concrete?

That's farking awesome.

The one moment of Dr Who history that makes me /facepalm every time was a scene where DW was surrounded by Nimons, and the head Nimon going "KILL HIM!"

And the Nimons begin to awkwardly close in in the Doctor, and just as his Galifrean goose was about to be cooked, the head Nimon then yells out ".....but not yet!"
