walkerhound: Why does the government get to decide when someone can and can't harvest an animal?
redmid17: My group of friends is always willing to walk someone through field dressing, but the person who shot the deer always has to do it. Reap what you sew, as it were. We don't invite people to come with us if they won't do it themselves. YMMV
Earl of Chives: Most of PA is for all intents and purposes the south. And yes, they are teh stupid.
fawlty: well, that puts an end to all you Libs arguing that you don't use handguns to hunt.nice to note that this was in Pa. and not in the South so we don't have to hear all ya'll's "people from the south are teh stupid" comments.
Rezurok: Real Women Drink Akvavit: Awww, geez. I don't know a single responsible hunter that would be OK with this little tidbit FTA: "The defendant pursued the deer through the parking lot and across Old William Penn Highway, where he killed the deer. The defendant then loaded the deer into his vehicle and took it to a meat processor for butchering,"If you don't know how to field dress your own game you shouldn't be allowed to shoot anything more lively than an empty beer can./unless it was comin' right for ya, of courseIt doesn't specify one way or the other. I don't know that the article needs to state "He then spent 30 minutes removing various viscera from the deer's abdominal cavity. Witnesses state he was seen holding his nose and cursing profusely, which led several onlookers to believe he may have punctured the animal's stomach."
