Lollipop165: Dude this story is SO old. I remember seeing it when I had a dial up modem.

It's older than that. I knew about it back in 1974. I was working at the theme park at the time, and after her mom took the picture of her and her brothers, I told the little girl "you know, you should marry that dude in the stroller over there when you grow up." True story.

I was hoping it was that plucky chipmunk.  If anyone deserves the girl it's Chippy.

I remember reading about this 14 years before the invention of photography!

I read about this in my grandfather's diary, and he wrote it like 35 years before that couple was even born.

Genesis 27: So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
And the male he placed in a stroller...

I went to grade school with the mother's grandmother, and one day we saw ole Ebner, who would later turn out to be the boy's grandfather in the school yard I told her "You know, Ebner over there's got a steady and it looks like he'll get her pappy's blessing. Isn't that swell? I saw them at the fun fair. You really oughta go sometime, it's a gas"

My wife saw an '=' sticker on a car the other day and asked me what it meant. At first I was like 'Where have you been the last few years?' but then I remembered that xkcd strip and had a laugh.

Florida's weird like that.  My grandparents left Orlando for a trailer park in Deltona.  I met a girl up the street who was my age, or rather, almost exactly.  I'm three hours older than her.  Stranger than that, her parents were a bit on the special needs side and her little brother even moreso, but she was normal.  Having the same hair and eye color on top of the same birthday, it was a little hard to be too serious about making a move.  A bit too Luke/Leia, you know?  Of course, being 13 and living halfway across the country didn't help much either.  Nor did never finishing a reply to her letter and not keeping in touch.

I'm literally the worst penpal ever.

Well, the story is about 14 years old, so it's automatically a repeat to someone.

Still a neat coincidence.

And what's an "=" sticker?

They look like the inspiration of every sitcom about a fat "adorable" loser and his hot(ish) wife.

Jees- where have you been?!? Under some kind of red state rock or something? I knew what an '=' sticker was before Stonewall even happened. Hell, Mary and Joseph had one on their donkey. You obviously are not a super cool, in-the-know internet addict- or else you actually have a life. One of those.

They're the stickers with the 'equal' sign on them. They stand for 'equality' and are used as a sign of support for gay marriage. For some reason they are usually placed between an apple fanboy sticker and some hipster band logo sticker. Extra points if it's on a Prius. Go figure.

Ah.

What's with the rainbow stripes?  I see those now and then.  I thought Apple changed their colors to silver and white.
