Believe me, the biggest troll of the NCAA tournament is no longer allowed to live under that bridge.

That sounds like the Iowa I remember fondly.  The smart-arse trait develops pretty quickly, out of sheer unadulterated boredom.

Maybe that's why the ref didn't call Craft as an illegal defender: he got pissed off at ISU's annoying fans and wanted to stick it up their asses.

Aw, I sort of miss the annual biatch-fest with the NCAA selection committee chairman.
"Why did you invite [mid-major school that won conference regular season] instead of the 12th best team in the ACC? WAAAAA!!!"

In anticipation of what I can only presume under the NCAA's number system is the seventh (ninth?) round of the tournament, I propose a new rule:  The NCAA can keep adding teams to the tournament, but they have to take them from the NIT.  Better yet, make the NCAA tourney 72 teams next year and the NIT 24 teams.

Mark Few's teams have been trolling for years.

They remind me of my time in pep band in college. We would do countless chants that were completely meaningless, or just to get into the head of the opponent. And being at a D3 college, our voices were easy to here and we got the players laughing or scowling at us numerous times.

Ahhh memories of being the leader of the pep band and student cheers. Good times.

I used to be a member of the Iowa State University Cyclone Football "Varsity" Marching Band back in the 80's. They have always seemed to upstage the sports teams.  We made the paper after a Colorado football game for chanting "Ralphies a cow in disguise." Ironically that was the most memorable part of the game.

Ahh, ISU's band chants.  They've been doing some of those chants for what seems like forever.

"You're shooting an orange on steroids!"
"You're shooting the ref's bad eye!"
"You're shooting your coach's stylist!" That one was said during a game with North Texas.  Their coach had the wind tunnel tested hair-do at the time.

Not to mention some of the chants directed during the player introductions.
"What the hell's an Aggie!"
"What the hell's a Sooner!"
And the well-known "N is for Knowledge!"

thanatos60:  "Ralphies a cow in disguise."

Awesome
