"We all know punk rock is aboutwearing a torn Bad Company tee and kicking over little kids' toy trucks in Central Park playgrounds while secretly jamming out to Fall Out Boy in the privacy of your own bedroom "

I'm confused. Does the writer know anything about rock 'n roll? Bad Company is about as far from punk as you can get and still be called rock. I can think of a whole lot of band names to use there that would work. Did he mean Bad Religion? Is he implying that a punk rocker would wear a torn Bad Company shirt ironically? I don't think so. Punk precedes ironic t shirts by 30 years, and I don't think ironic t shirts are punk at all. Or is he just clueless? These are important questions that need answers.

This is kind of a question:  31 year old punk rocker with a primary job on tour?
Also, who got him the job at the Port Authority?  I'm guessing Sergeant Dad or Lieutenant Uncle has egg on his face as well.
