Buchenwald? Let's be honest. The real victims are the people here who had difficulty clicking on a New York Times link.

As someone who has walked through the camps and has also talked to survivors in English and German, fark you, fark you and all the other deniers with a rusty spoon. If a genie was to grant me one wish it would be to eliminate such people from the gene pool, such inability to learn from the horrors of our own history is probably the worst part of humanity.

Since the Holocaust, we have enjoyed the murderous stylings of Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot, just to name a few. Far more people dead yet no constant hand wringing and worship of those genocides.

A. There was a relatively small Russian, Chinese and Cambodian diaspora to the U.S. and Western Europe to spread concern about those genocides, and the people who did flee those regimes had less of a English-language literary and journalistic bent. B. No pictures. No death camp liberations, so not the same emotional impact. C. Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot killed people because of their perceived ideology, not in order to exterminate a "race," so not exactly the same. D. Nazi genocide against the Jews was the core of their ideology. Communists didn't write whole books about their need to exterminate "human vermin," so there's less of a "never again allow that philosophy" impetus. There are plenty of Communist regimes who didn't pursue genocide (the whole Warsaw pact, for instance, and post-Stalin USSR and post-Mao China), but no Nazi ones.

Get it now?

Yes, I get it. Jews are special so do what they say and bleed for Israel.

I realize you're a troll with a hobby horse, but the correct answer is that NAZIS are special. Nazis was the answer we were looking for. Thank you for playing.

Deep Contact: "Are there any Jews alive here?" the rabbi asked him.
No one else mattered?

It's almost like a person might ask for a specific group of people they can help in a dire situation with limited resources due to close cultural, religious and language ties so as to maximize their ability to aid through the use of a skills and knowledge largely unique to them.

But, no, I'm sure you're right. It's probably safe to assume he was just being a racist dick.
