I am getting sick and tired of those who continue to falsely claim shiat. I am actually the one who shot bin Laden, damn it!

I WANT MY PARADE

Duh, but I do love the Esquire article for one reason:

"These biatches is getting truculent."

2013-03-27 12:34:36 AM
I just wish no one said a damn word about it. Couldn't even finish the article because the author wouldn't take the guy's dick out of his mouth.

Ugggg...

Can't imagine this ending well for him. So much for being a Quiet Professional. Same for the guy with the book.

The world didn't need to know. We knew the outcome and that's all that matters.

I don't like that. I like a good war story from someone who's seen it. And special forces are so misunderstood that they should really write more stuff about the operations they do. If you read the book, only like 1% of their job is war. The 99% is training and exercise. If people knew that, more of the right kind of decisions could be made by kids who dream of serving.

doglover: The 99% is training and exercise.

Are you kidding me?! That's the best part! They get to "play" with tons of cool stuff in order to figure out what works. Like, modifying shaped charges to take out an I-beam with as little C4 as possible. Not to mention all the cool skills they get to learn in order to be armed ambassadors/teachers to the region they are assigned to.

There are PLENTY of books out there that explain pretty much everything about them. I know, I've read most of them. Here... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_L._Haney

Read his book. It's pretty good. He also got stomped on by former teammates for embellishment.

Most don't like to talk about the operational aspects of what they do. They adhere to a high standard of OPSEC even if something might not be classified. In their mind, the less the enemy knows, the safer they and their families are.

I just never liked this whole thing since the book came out.

So, we've got two options here. Well, three if you count that the Government is lying about how he died to eliminate any attempt to portray his death as heroic or a "last stand".

A) The guy who talked to the  Esquire reporter is so full of shiat he's swimming in it, and needs to be outed, at least to the US Special Operations community. And he needs a good kick in the balls for going from honorable sailor to Stolen Valor.

B) The Esquire reporter used information available to fabricate his own account of events for fame and fortune. And he needs a good kick in the balls.

Whoever killed bin laden will die poor, lonely, and probably due to suicide.  He doesn't really matter.

And then we took his body out of the freezer and let it thaw out for a little while. Once he was room temperature, we sat him up in a corner and took pot shots at him until he looked good enough to photograph.

With that all done, we zipped him into a bodybag and put him on the Osprey and dumped the body into the ocean. After that we grabbed some beers and headed into Bangkok for some R&R.

Obama wasn't killed in an Esquire profile last month... he was killed almost two years ago in his bedroom.

That guy is full of it.

Besides, we already know who shot him...

Someone made up a story about bin laden's death for a bit of fame/notoriety?  This should come as a surprise to exactly no one.

How are we ever gonna know what happened?   Osama could have died of a heart attack when they showed up at his place.  Or, he could have offed himself when they showed up 'cause he knew he would be tortured and/or killed.  It's also possible that none of the "stories" we've been told are true, as they don't want us to know the truth, and the "narrative" makes for a better or more exciting story.

/maybe he told our guys "I'm not saying anything until I speak with my attorney"

Are you implying that Bin Laden was Luke's father?

Lulz, that's not high speed. We learn that in AIT.

They however don't have to wear a sh*t ton of gear while playing with explosives. Lucky jerks.

No, he was Charles Foster Kane's sled.

Oh and I'd believe the story about him getting shot peaking around a door and then two in the chest while he lay dying. They came in there with full force looking to not take prisoners. I'm perfectly fine with that.

I kind of figured somebody at the level of being on Seal Team 6 would be above the need to ever brag or talk about it.  I always assume that anyone bragging about their wartime heroics or whatever is full of shiat.

One thing that surprised me is that the Bin Laden compound seemed to be in the middle of a little town.  I was picturing it in the middle of a desert for some reason.

So lets get this straight.
This is the guy who masterminded 9/11.
He said he didn't plan 9/11.
No one is sure who shot him.
No one saw him on the ship that dumped his body.
Rumors that he died in 2001 if kidney failure.
Thousands killed and injured.
Trillions of dollars spent.
Seal team 6 members killed.
I need a drink.

Um, why aren't these guys being court martialed or something for talking about a classified operation?
