Subby here.  Serena thought she had beaten it, but it came back with a vengeance.  She has found a cancer treatment center that is NCI certified and her first consultation is only $600.  Treatment costs are estimated to be about $78,000.  She won't be eligible for medicare for 9 more months, and that is a long time in her condition.  Every dollar gets us closer to the goal.  Donations are through PayPal.

Hrrrrrmmmm, please Farkers, please help Serena.  Even if this doesn't go green, please visit the site and donate.

The cancer that began as breast cancer has gone to all of my weight bearing bones as well as my liver. I have been receiving treatment in Wyoming.

This is terrible, but can we donate to her kids instead?  I went through this with my mother and my aunt, and there's no coming back.  Even with the best health insurance (government employees) you can get.

Thanks modmin for greenlighting this.

Give money regardless - it's expensive to be sick.  I gave $50 under my Fark name, Subby might be able to confirm it.

Lsherm, yes the donations can be used for her kids, living expenses, or whatever.  For tax purposes, it is a gift, not tax deductible.  I appreciate your honesty.

I am sorry to hear about you mother and your aunt, and thank you for your donation.  You can visit the page to get more information.

Technically she has medicaid but it won't help her in Wyoming we have no such facilities.  There is a small chance she could get it transferred, but she will still need donations.

I don't think that about you, sir (from your note on PayPal).  I really appreciate this, and if we ever do find ourselves at philosophical odds, this action means the world.  You have my respect.

Yeah, we're about at loggerheads with Fark.  If they believed in you, they'd put you on the front page.  Since they don't, they put you on PSA.  But I still spent money on you.

Quite the quandry for Fark.

This was my first green, but I wish it was for something funny. :(

Yeah, I withdrew it.  The Paypal account wasn't verified and the website didn't check out.  Now it's in dispute.

Clear up the background and we'll be cool.  Otherwise that transfer isn't going through.

Ok, I will check into it.  We haven't had any complaints from anyone else.  I will look into the problem.  This probably explains why this was redlit all of a sudden.
