Rankings are meaningless.  It's all about the tournament.

offacue: By definition, one of these 50 great United States has to be #1.  If not Tennessee or Missouri, which of the remaining 48 should it be and why?

I prefer the W.V. meth, myself.  It has less Drano and a much higher battery acid content.  Sure, it costs more, but I'll be dead or in jail in 5 years anyway.

Math is really important in Missouri.
For example, let's say that you need 5 grams of meth to sell at $25 a gram to pay off the rent for your trailer and you have 20 boxes of Sudafed stashed away and you want to convert that.  Assuming you have a 50-75% conversion rate of pseudoephedrine to meth, each Sudafed pill has 30mg of pseudoephedrine, and there are 10 pills in each box, will you have enough to make 5 grams of meth?  If not, how much squirrel meat would you have to sell at $5 per pound to cover the rest?
Oh, you mean meth.
My bad.

This actually does surprise me. Born and raised in the Nashville area, and my Mom's side of the family are drug addicts and alcoholics. Maybe the meth is elsewhere in the state. It could be why country music is so popular here. Maybe on meth it's normal and good.

They should do a Faces of Math photo gallery, showing how a geek gets fatter and his glasses get thicker the deeper he delves into the world of math addiction.
