FTFA:  "As we reported, there are no private NY rehab centers that keep patients against their will, except for one connected with the prison system, and you have to have a felony record to get in -- and Lindsay doesn't."

I find it amazing that Lohan doesn't have a felony record.  She has enough mugshots to make a montage and has managed not to have a felony record.

I decided to look it up.  Celebrity justice is awesome.  I like that she has enough charges against her to actually break it down into a yearly list.

LINDSAY LOHAN CRIMINAL RECORD FOR 2010

October 2010
The judge orders Lilo to spend 90 days at a rehab facility.

September 2010 - Just weeks after leaving rehab early, Lindsay failed a drug test mandated by the courts. She could face up to 30 days in jail.

August 2010 - With only 23 days of rehab under her belt, Lindsay Lohan was released from her treatment program over two months early.

August 2010 - Due to overcrowding at the women's Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, Lindsay was released after serving only two weeks behind bars. She was immediately sent to rehab for 90 days of treatment.

July 2010 - Judge Marsha Revel sentenced actress Lindsay Lohan to serve 90 days in jail and also spend 90 days in rehab following her release. Lindsay sobbed as she heard the news and realized that she wouldn't be getting off scott free as she had hoped. Even though it was clearly too late, Lindsay pleaded with the judge to reconsider. Showing no mercy, Judge Revel said: "I couldn't have been more clear. There are no excuses."

June 2010 - Lindsay Lohan's SCRAM device was apparently set off while attending a 2010 MTV Movie Awards after party. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel found Lindsay to be in violation of the original agreement and issued a warrant for her arrest and upped the bail to $200,000. The bond was quickly posted and the warrant was removed. The troubled starlet denied any wrongdoing and even posted a bunch of Tweets in her own defense. Lindsay is still expected in court on July 6.

May 2010 - Lindsay was issued a temporary passport and when she returned home at the end of May, a judge mandated that she wear a SCRAM device (court issued alcohol monitoring device) on her ankle. Lindsay was forbidden from consuming alcohol and scheduled to appear in court on July 6.

May 2010 - When she failed to appear at a court hearing, a bench warrant was issued for Lindsay's arrest. She was partying it up at the Cannes Film Festival in France, claiming to be stuck there with her passport stolen. As quickly as it was issued, the warrant was withdrawn after her people posted the $100,000 bond.

LINDSAY LOHAN RUMORED CRIMINAL RECORD FOR 2008 and 2009

June 2009
- Rumors swirled that Lindsay allegedly stole $400,000 worth of Dior jewelry. She posed for Elle U.K. on June 6 and it was discovered that jewels from the photo shoot were missing. Two days later, reps from the studio went to the police and reported a pair of diamond earrings and a necklace stolen. Coincidentally, it was the same set that Lindsay wore in the photos. No charges were ever filed in the case.

January 2008 - Rumor had it that Lindsay allegedly stole an $11,000 fur coat from Masha Markova while attending a private party at 1 Oak in NYC. After several back and forth phone calls, the coat was mysteriously returned to the rightful owner without charges being filed.

LINDSAY LOHAN CRIMINAL RECORD FOR 2007

November 2007
- Lindsay is convicted and sentenced to one day in jail, 10 days community service, three years probation, and an 18-month alcohol education program. She goes on to serve exactly 84 minutes behind bars.

August 2007 - Lindsay checks into rehab and heads to Cirque Lodge in Utah.

July 2007 - Just 10 days after leaving rehab, Lindsay is arrested again for DUI and driving on a suspended license. She is found with cocaine in her pockets and tries to convince cops that the pants weren't hers.

July 2007 - Lindsay completes 45 days of residential rehab treatment at Promises. After checking out, she wears an alcohol monitoring bracelet.

May 2007 - Lindsay is arrested for DUI and cops find cocaine in her possession.

Dude...she starred in Mean Girls.  Mean Girls!  Apparently, starring in that movie got her a "get out of jail free" card for life.

The judge simply orders that failure to complete the treatment program will result in 90 days of jail.  Sneak out to party? 90 days of jail.  Get high in treatment? 90 days of jail.  That is as good of a lock down rehab as you are going to get.

Please Hollywood.  Just give this moron a ton of money and let her kill herself.

Can we please start ignoring the twunt now? I'm tired of my time being wasted with the wastrel's antics. Sure, I don't have to read the stories (and don't), but when you're watching TV news and she pops up it's farking annoying. It's not news. Neither is anything Kim Kardashian, any member of Jersey Shore cast, Paris Econolodge, or Justin Beiber EVER does. Stop wasting my time.

/If I wanted to hear about this crap I'd get a lobotomy, have my dick cut off and get a subscription to The National Enquirer.

Ha Ha.  The list was so long that I didn't even notice that it stopped in October 2010.

Dec. 12, 2010: During Lindsay Lohan's rehab stint, a staffer at the Betty Ford Center accuses the starlet of attacking her after she asks Lohan to submit to a drug and alcohol test. The charges are later dropped.

LINDSAY LOHAN 2011 Criminal Charges

Feb. 9, 2011
: Surprise! LL is taken back into custody after pleading not guilty to a burglary charge after stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice jewelry store. She is sentenced to 120 days in jail, 360 hours of community service at a Los Angeles women's shelter and 120 hours service at the L.A. County morgue tied to the fact that any violations of the law constitute a violation of her probation. Due to overcrowding, she is assigned house arrest and is ordered to wear a tracking ankle monitor for 35 days.

Apr. 22, 2011: Lindsay Lohan is given 120 days in county jail and 480 hours of community service after a judge finds she violated her probation on the 2007 DUI. At the same time, her necklace-jacking charge is knocked down to a misdemeanor.

May 26, 2011: She's released from L.A.'s Lynwood Jail due to overcrowding and serves out the rest of her stint under house arrest.

Oct. 19, 2011: The Mean Girls star has her probation revoked (again!) after failing to complete her court-ordered community service. After being briefly detained, she gets out after posting $100,000 bail. According to MTV, she is told that if she wants to stay out of jail, she needs to complete 16 hours of community service at the morgue before her next hearing.

November 2011: According to Business Insider, Lohan was sentenced to 30 days in county jail and extensive community service after she admitted to violating a past court order by failing to complete previously ordered community service.

LINDSAY LOHAN 2012 Criminal Charges

March 14, 2012
: Lohan is accused of allegedly sideswiping a person with her car outside a Hollywood hotspot and then fleeing the scene. L.A. prosecutors decline to prosecute, citing "no direct evidence."

March 29, 2012: The comeback kid finally completes the probation in her DUI case and is placed on informal probation for the necklace theft.

June 2012: According to MTV, in the midst of trying to revive her career and posting several positive probation reports at the top of the year, she finds herself in more trouble. Although not seriously injured, she is taken to the hospital after crashing her Porsche into an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica. Days later it is reported that the actress may have lied to police about who was actually behind the wheel after saying she was in the passenger seat. That issue could still potentially lead to charges that could lead to possible jail time.

Sept. 19, 2012: Lohan was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident when a man claimed she hit his knee while trying to park her Porsche Cayenne near the Dream Hotel. Prosecutors ultimately dropped the charges citing insufficient evidence, Hello Online reported in October.

She wasn't arrested this time but Lohan found herself in the crosshairs of a legal battle that same month when she claimed Congressional aide Christian LaBella assaulted her, according to The Chicago Tribune. While Lohan claimed LaBella assaulted her, leading to his arrest; the misdemeanor charges against him were later dropped.

Oct. 10, 2012: Cops respond to a disturbance call at the Long Island, N.Y. home where Lindsay is staying with her mother, Dina Lohan, after the two allegedly have a massive blowout. No charges are filed, however.

Nov. 29, 2012: Lindsay Lohan was arrested around 4 a.m. on Thursday (November 29) after police said she hit a woman in the face during an argument at a New York City lounge. A spokesperson for the New York Police Department told MTV News that Lohan, 26, was taken into custody outside the nightspot and charged with third-degree assault in the incident after she got into an argument with another woman at Avenue in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. The victim reportedly did not need medical attention.

Too bad the "celeb" court system is clueless & will end up just giving her another slap on her wrist. :/ How many chances is this trick ho going to get? It's well beyond ridiculous now. She makes OJ getting off seem like a harsh punishment.

I would not be surprised at all if she tears through every drug she can get her hands on  and dies from an OD in the days leading up to her rehab/jail stint.

Don't have a problem with that. But the thing with her is that she is the poster child for addicts that are a danger to other people.

It would be nice if he started willingly paid those families what he owes them. So far all the money he's paid has been forced by the courts. That man has to have money hiding somewhere. He still lives too good of a lifestyle to be broke. Well when he's not in jail.

2013-03-25 08:56:05 AM
Fact is ... there appear to be no non-jail rehab facilities that will keep patients in against their will -- anywhere in the U.S.

Thanks a lot, ACLU!

2013-03-25 09:00:59 AM
Throw her in jail for the entire 90 days and be done with it.  If the court system is afraid of tossing a celebrity in jail, just remember that Mean Girls was almost ten years ago, so she's barely a celebrity and the jail population might not recognize her.

Honestly, I want to know something, if they don't hold her in jail.  If they say that since there is no lock down rehab place that she can go to and they don't hold her in jail or anything and she gets into a carwreck because she was driving drunk and on drugs and kills someone, can the state of California be held responsible for the death since they knowingly let someone with a problem and a history of alcohol and drug abuse and impaired driving out knowing that odds are she wasn't going to seek or accept any help?

I'd LOVE to see her locked up for 90 days but it will never happen. The jails are too overcrowded & she'll be out within hours. I think Bobby Brown served a total of 9 hours of his 55 days. It only took that long because there was a line of other people getting out for the same reason.

Unfortunately I don't believe the state can be held responsible. :/

Well no shiat. This is a perfect example of what's wrong with the public perception of mental health. Apparantly everyone involved with this case is under the impression that mental health professionals can hold someone indefinitely against their will whenever we like (non suicide threats). NEWSFLASH: rehab isn't a damn prison, the hope is that the people there are there because they want to change. Not because they want to avoid a couple months in prison. The judicial system has screwed up mental health care by making it mandatory. Now we have a public who blame mental health professionals whenever some nut goes on a shooting rampage because we didn't lock them up for life. I hope Lohan goes back to jail, because court ordered rehab is a joke.

First New York passes a law calling for nonexistent 7-bullet clips. Then it sentences LiLo to nonexistent rehab facility. Maybe NY judges and politicians have been replaced by people from the other universe (where these things do exist).

In order to confirm this, I'll need a lot of LSD, ketamine and Dr. Walter Bishop

If I was the judge, I offer her this:

All charges dropped, in exchange for a "voluntary" revocation of her driving privileges. Clean slate, taxpayers are done paying for her suicide. Court dismissed, have a nice day.

Looking through Turfshoe's summary I count two DUI's, 2 Cocaine possessions, one theft that was prosecuted and an assault charge that was prosecuted. I lost count of the parole violations.

It is amazing she's managed to avoid more than a night or two in jail, particularly given the drug charges.

Someone should sue the state of California for wasting so much of the taxpayers money on this biatch. How this coont has avoided jail time and then committing crimes again and again and again is embarrassing.  Now this bullshiat she practically made the courts look even worse.. How does a court agree to something that doesn't even exist?

She was sentenced in California not NY. Which is part of the confusion concerning the lock down rehabs in NY. Her lawyer assured the DA that they existed in NY. He lied.
