jehovahs witness protection: Old news, but I've gotten hits on bills I entered in some strange and cool places.

No, I think you're thinking of weirdinsertions.com. Love your work by they way.

Retired Georger here. I put about 75,000 bills into the WG system between 2002 to 2010.

On average, only about 11% of all bills entered are re-entered down the line. That percentage is much lower for anything larger than a one dollar bill. So most people who only enter one or two bills are bound to be disappointed and give up. Once you enter about 100 bills or so, then you get enough hits to make it more interesting.

I have a handful of CSBs about the hits I've received on my dollars, but the only one I'll share for now is one that received two hits after I entered it. The user note on Hit #1 was "Used to repay a loan made to me by my satanic priest." Hit #2 (about a year later) said "Found in an offerings basket in my church".

Never entered one, but have gotten 5 and have tracked where they've been.

CSB time...

In a 3 month's timespan I got the exact same bill twice. Went from Tennessee to Kentucky to Illinois and then back here to me in Nashville.

hundreddollarman: There should be a rule state something like "The longer a $1 bill is in circulation, the probability of it ending up in a stripper's G-string approaches 1."

lol...one of the hits on a bill i entered a few years back says "Got it from stripping."

PastaFazoole: Every once in a while I enter a bill on there, but I got bored when I only got two hits. Plus when I have dollar bills I usually forget to enter them. If I get a marked one though, I always check to see where it came from.

Kind of CSB though, the one bill that did get two hits. Both of the people who entered it after I did had the same first name as me.

You're actually the first person I've ever heard of with the first name Pasta, so that is pretty remarkable.

I've gotten at least 20 of these, but that's only because someone keeps passing them near where my mother lives, and she occasionally sends the ones she's collected to me (and then I spend them on candy.)

So if you ever see one that went from Schenectady NY to the vicinity of Boston MA, I touched it, and now you've got my cooties.

I sometimes think about the dollar bills I give at fast food drive through, and they probably just end up with the car behind me.  That and the sticky, coffee pennies I sometime give them.  Oh, and my ass pennies.

There is a place in my city that stamps all of there $1s. I got 2 of them a few days ago from them.
