I wonder what nationality that poster had (not Vicejay, it's a quote from the site). Seems like someone from some country that can't export food products to the EU?

Switzerland isn't in the EU, but whatever, horsemeat and plastic.

Hmm, "lah" is in another article comment too. Can't tell from the context of either what it means.

Why don't they sell those over here? I would love kit kat bars with peanut butter.

I had a bowl of Chinese Cream'O'wheat this morning and there was a plastic horse in it.

Same here.  I've been known to dip Kit Kats in peanut butter.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I clicked the link and was all "Damn I gotta have that!"

I was expecting they were recalled because there was no warning that they contained Peanut Butter.

Now that they use brown plasticated goo instead of chocolate, candy bars are on my no-eat list, along with fast food-burgers.

Have I eaten horsemeat in my Kit Kats as well now?

Hey, Europe is a perfect place and a model for what America can become. If they want horse meat, and and plastic in there food, we need to start doing that to. Europe is so much better than America because socialism!

Break me off a piece of that Recall Bar.

OK, finally read the article. What's the problem? It does say Chunky right on the label. Just because they buyer assumed the chunks were peanuts does not mean they *have* to be peanuts.

I think the recall only affects the left half of the bar.

To be fair, a Kit Kat is one of the few major candy products that is labelled to have "milk chocolate". IIRC it means it actually has to be chocolate. It may not be the best chocolate, granted, but it's better than the chocolate flavored wax that is being passed off these days by most candy producers as "made with real chocolate" or "chocolatey coating" or "fudgey". All of that is code for cocoa solids mixed with vegetable oil.

Check out the candy aisle, and count how many things *actually* say milk chocolate. I guarantee you it's less than half of the products there.

Forth, but they have to leave the plastic out of it.  Sounds like a Homer just threw the jars of peanut butter or the spoon in the machine.

"Lah" is to Singapore, what "eh" is to Canada.

I once got a KitKat with no cookie in it just solid chocolate. I called the customer service number on the wrapper and they sent me coupons for $20 worth of free candy.

This. :D  (Was about to pop up with "It's ok, Stewardess, I speak Singlish!" but yes, "lah" is roughly equivalent to "Eh" or "Yanno..." in certain Canadian or US dialects.)
