Like "Why wasn't Sam hitting that six ways to Sunday?"

What I really want to read is the tell-all book about steroids on the set of Global Guts.

They liked each other too much as friends. They even had an episode about it.

Quite frankly, I liked that. It showed that a guy and a girl could be friends without dating each other.

How much you want to bet that they'll change this for the book?

Good, because I feel like the show hadn't really explained anything.

It was a good show. Yes, there were some clichés and bad acting (the parents, oh gawd, the parents), but it drew outside the lines, starting with the opening monologue of episode 1, in which Clarissa explains her taste in music - They Might Be Giants, The Violent Femmes, etc.

And there was the fact that Clarissa has no desire to be normal or popular, and doesn't want to "fit in." A lot of kids' shows pay lip services to individuality, but Clarissa really embraced being a kook.

That show took queues from "Ferris Bueller," feminized them and gave 'tween girls (before the term was coined) a character to admire who really followed her own path.

How about why only 1 season has been released on dvd or that there's 5 seasons to pull episodes from but "90's are All That" only replays the same ones when they're tired of airing Doug and Kenan and Kel.

Jeez why can't Nick just stream their old series or release them through netflix or something. I'll gladly pay to watch all of "Salute your shorts", "Secret world of Alex Mack", "The Adventures of Pete and Pete", and I would say Rocko's Modern life but I got that on dvd already.

It wouldn't surprise me if they made him into a furry or something else that would feel pretty out of left field. I remember that a lot of people were pretty irritated when Sweet Valley Confidential came out, with the various boyfriends swapped around and tons of retcons of the series as a whole. That seems to be par for the course nowadays.

How is she 23 and in a bad economy? It'd be toward the end of the Clinton boom with proper series setting

I wished Sam would climb through my window.  I bet he was gay though.

Shows with Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez already answered the important question: "What will Dad think about when masturbating when this gets cancelled?"

I had a friend like that.  Didn't work out when we dated, got on each others' nerves too much, but we were great friends.  We did occasionally sleep together, but we were 30, not 15.

Probably licensing issues with some of the SFX and background music.  That hangs up most reissues

Probably, is there a separate term for when you become roommates with that arrangement?  If not then yeah, you're right.

I had a best friend like that at 15. We would even enter her room through the window and everything (large window, ground floor...). Dated every last one of her friends, we stayed platonic. Kept that up for a good 5-6 years. Then the inevitable...

//Married to that friend for 10 years now.

Arguably they were still just paying lip service to individuality by casting someone who was objectively attractive.

All the nick shows on dvd (except for adventures of pete and pete for whatever reason) are on netflix streaming.

Rocko's Modern Life, Aaaah real monsters, Ren and Stimpy, Angry Beavers, etc.

The rest simply aren't on dvd at all, which is quite annoying.

All of you asking about Sam must not have RTFA. "an on again off again girlfriend" She was a lesbian. Or, if you're a closed-minded simpleon Holy Roller: "She moved to NYC, and made the choice to become a lesbian after being influenced by the big city" Yeah. that explains a lot.

ON TELEVISION? THE HELL YOU SAY!

Actually, 14/15-year-old Melissa Joan Hart was rather gawky and ordinary:

You're remembering the all-growds-up version when she did the nekkid-in-the-bed-sheets thing in Maxim.

They started showing 90's Nick shows as a nostalgic programming block for older people on teen nick, and I saw an episode of Clarissa Explains It All last year. When they mentioned how George Bush Sr. was president I realized how dated that show really was. Had to turn it off.

/They show the cartoons too though, and those never get old.

You didn't read it as well as you think you did.  The boy she's pining after has an on again off again girlfriend, not Clarissa.
