god, that was awesome. i've seen the yngwie and clapton ones, but this is the first vocal one i've seen.

and just in case you thought the BB couldn't sing, listen to them  a cappella. it's chill-inducing.

Crap that's funny.

Made it to the end.

They routinely did those harmonies note-for-note live on cue on television, too...

Today's kids don't get the importance of slapping thighs while singing. It's sad.

OMG, somehow that's been on the internet for 5 years and I've never seen it before.  My stomach hurts from laughing so hard.  It sounds like the douches you hear when you walk through the amp department of a Guitar Center.

Brian Wilson is my favorite vocalist in the whole world. Gave me chills in seconds. That is freaking gorgeous.

That might be my new favorite "shreds" video.  The voice for Mike Love was perfect.

Oh God, that is just so friggin funny...

I've watched it four times and keep missing stuff because I keep laughing. Then I play it again and think to myself; "OK, this time I won't laugh..." and I do anyway...

I lose it every time at 1:02...

I was a big BB fan back starting in the mid-60s, though as my ears grew up their spotty (vocal) intonation started bugging me.

No big deal--but when I learned all about Carol Kaye and Hal Blaine and so on, I was really let down.

What's it like to play "live" concerts all those years when the sounds on the records--beloved by your audience--were made by someone else?

**********

/that said, Subby's video is very, very funny....

When I leave this Earth, I think their vocals will be one of the many things I'll miss. When I was young, I used to make fun of their "campy" music. Now I just luxuriate in their ingeniously crafted lush harmonies. Chill-inducing, indeed.

Yeah I almost bailed on this about 20 seconds in but the god-awful clapping kept me enthralled.

The first time I listened to SMiLE after it was finally released, I had tears streaming down my face.  Which is odd, because most of the lyrics are total gibberish.

This is one of those clips I click on and wonder wtf I pay dues for in having access to content in Total Fark.  I can't believe this was Greenlit considering all the other content that was ignored.  Seriously.  Who's driving the clown car here? I want to know whose wig I need to rip off.

Still:  funny.

You got your ass kicked by the Beach Boys?  That's not something I would advertise, especially now that they're all senior citizens.

I can't believe that made me laugh as much as it did.
