They just aren't pure enough. They have to purify the GOP.

Please continue. Divide and conquer themselves. Heh.

"We have seen FOX suddenly get very loud about Benghazi after the 1st boycott, but conservatives are conservative because they are not stupid," the website reads.

Truly, they have a dizzying intellect.

Nice design. Is it 1998 already? Could use some frames.

That is what a number of Tea Party activists are saying and they are organizing a boycott to protest the conservative station's coverage, especially what they view as the network's relative silence in investigating the attacks on a diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.

Wait the complaint is that Fox News didn't have enough Benghazi coverage?   Wasn't it basically the 24/7 Benghazi channel for a couple months?

2013-03-23 08:27:58 AM
I can't even grasp how crazy you'd have to be to boycott Fox for not doing enough Benghazi coverage. They spent six months desperately spinning something that would have been forgotten in a week under Bush into a "scandal" because it was literally the only damn thing they could attack Obama on foreign policy with]

There is not enough time in the morning for me to find a suitably titanic facepalm.

FTA:  "The more I looked at it, I have come to the conclusion that Fox is not as fair and balanced as I thought. They shade the truth also."

SHOCKING!

2013-03-23 08:30:54 AM
There's an obvious niche in the market here, wating for some enterprising job-creator to capitalize upon with the Benghazi Channel.

2013-03-23 08:32:47 AM
I understand that the quotes in the story were made up of words, but what I don't get is why or how they could reasonably be placed together in the order that they were.  I submit the 'infinite monkeys on infinite typewriters' theory.

Watching the monster that the Republicans and Fox News created turn on them is quite enjoyable

houginator: Wait the complaint is that Fox News didn't have enough Benghazi coverage?   Wasn't it basically the 24/7 Benghazi channel for a couple months?

I think I finally understand it...

Teabaggers: "WHAR BENGHAZI WHAR?!?!"
Fox News: "We're running it 24/7, brah."
Teabaggers: "That's not nearly often enough. Y'all should be running Benghazi coverage awday e'ryday. Or atta very least, potatuh each day."

2013-03-23 08:38:19 AM
It is like a supernova of stupidity.

2013-03-23 08:41:35 AM
I have no words.

2013-03-23 08:41:39 AM
They should dedicate several days coverage to showing everyone where Benghazi is.  At least everyone would learn something for a change.

Conservatives by definition are behind the times, American conservatives are behind by millennia

Fox News... turned too far to the left....

*peals of laughter*

I'll be laughing for the next few weeks.

2013-03-23 08:49:30 AM
So Fox is bring boycotted because they won't do enough stories on a scandal they themselves invented? The irony is way too delicious.

2013-03-23 08:49:41 AM
This is why we should never allow religion in politics. Once the theocracy is in place, no one is able to meet the standard. Within faith, all accept they they must strive but will fail because it is in our nature. But in politics, random definitions of perfection are used to set the bar.

They have a point.  What has Fox News ever done for the Tea Party anyway?

cloudfront.mediamatters.org

Besides pretty much completely invent the movement, that is.  Or at least Astroturf the hell out of it.

Yeah, probably.

Organizers say a two-day boycott earlier this month knocked 20 percent off of the network's regular viewership. (A Daily Beast analysis of the same data showed that the boycott had little effect.)

Pretty much sums it up, doesn't it?

Most likely it will be called the "One America" network.

It's more math Republicans do to make themselves feel better.  Nothing to see here.

The problem wasn't the amount of coverage. The problem was that they were only "asking questions" instead of impeaching Obama.

Oh, the ironing.

That the Tea Party will potentially marginalize themselves back into obscurity by attacking its own propaganda machine for not being slanted enough, is truly delicious.
