It's a trojan, not a virus. I would have to install it and there is no way I should ever have to or would ever give my administrator password to watch a movie trailer.

Virii can infect your (PC) computer without any help from the user, they are self-propagating.
Trojans rely on the users stupidity to get installed and cannot propagate themselves

Doesn't surprise me at all. Virus makers usually target the stupid and easily-influenced. Mac users are the perfect marks.

This won't affect a good number of Mac users, who refuse to watch any movie not made by art house filmmakers.

Saborlas: B-b-but Macs don't get viruses because they JUST WORK!

they don't get viruses.

this is a trojan. in order for it to work, you have to give it permission. if you're dumb enough to do that, then that's hardly the computer's fault.

FTA:  When the Trojan is launched, it shows a dialog window that asks the user if they want to install something called "Free Twit Tube." If the user selects "continue," that's when the Trojan downloads and installs Yontoo in the browser.

/iCultists are easy to infect due to a false sense of security
//most virus makers are merely uninterested in infecting only 2% of the market
