Naw his best line has to be at the end of "the Captains" where he admits to Patrick Stewart that, in the making of the film, he's come to terms with people liking him for his role as Captain Kirk.

soo.... moving...

Please.  White Comanche is the summit of film making.  Film makers should have just destroyed their equipment and scripts since it's release.  Frankly their attempts to surpass it are a little embarrassing.  No films should have been released since the perfection that is White Comanche was unleashed onto a undeserving public.   It should have won every Oscar from 1968 and every Oscar since.  William Shatner plays a pair of half breed Indian twins.  That shows the depth of Shatner's acting ability, because he isn't a half breed Indian!  One has taken the white man's way, the other is a warleader for the Comanche nation.  They fight!  One wins.

I have it on some authority if you watch White Comanche and play Shatner's Rocket Man quietly at the same time, the secrets of the universe will be revealed (or you'll cause a blackhole that will destroy our civilization, depending who you ask).

I agree with your disagreement.

I also agree with the disagreement.

I'll go with what someone else said. Khaaaaan!

Although Trouble with Tribbles and the Twilight Zone deserve honorable mentions as well.

Also, every TJ Hooker episode ever, especially if Heather Locklear is involved.

What Heather Locklear used to look like. Who cares about Bill Shatner?  (Possibly a bit risque for work.)

I can believe that McCoy never shared the story of his father's death, but there's no way that Kirk wasn't aware of Sarek's disgust over Spock's human half.

Kirk needs his pain? Wait until hears about Rayna Kopec.

Brick-House: No Tribble at all...

[www.treknews.net image 640x350]

I had no idea it was his B-day today, and after not touching it for about 6 months, on a whim, I bought a "Trouble With Tribbles" booster box for the original Star Trek CCG. I was clearly being influenced by the universe.

There's some comedian from the late 80s, I can't remember his name, but as part of his routine, he does an imitation of Woody Allen doing the opening monologue of "Star Trek," and an imitation of Shatner doing the final monologue from "Annie Hall," in Shatner's unique cadence.

"After that it. . . . gotprettylate . . . AND we . . . both  . . . hadtoGO, but . . . it WAS  . . .great  . . . seeingAnnieagain. I... I realized . . . WHAT a terrific  . . . personshewas  . . . and... and how MUCH fun itWASjust . . . KNOWing her."

Probably was Kevin Pollack.  He does a great Shatner and Woody.

If there were voting I'd go with the Spock funeral scene from the second movie.

Most people would fault a science fiction movie for not having enough drama.
