We'll give your ID card to the border guard.
Your alias says you're Captain Jean-Luc Picard . . .

And on a more serious note - put me down for $10 on "Piss off Saudi family hired Mexican hit man to off the prison chief".

Felon?  Check.
Multiple (6) felony priors? Check.
Out on parole?  Check.
Illegal firearm?  Check.
Homicide? Check.
High speed felony chase?  Check.

Clearly we need more firearms laws.

Seriously though.  Six time violent felon is let out on parole?  WTF was Colorado thinking?

It appears that this POS was a member of 211 Crew. A white supremacist gang while in prison.  Story is unfolding that he murdered a Domino's delivery guy to get his workshirt and a Dominio's pizza box.  They think he was wearing it when he rang the doorbell at Clements home.
It will come out that it was a hit arranged by 211 Crew.

Authorities in Decatur, Texas, surround a black Cadillac involved in a car chase. The driver was shot and is essentially brain-dead.

/I think he was brain dead before getting a cerebral lead injection.

Membership in a prison gang should be a capital offense.

Missed this story earlier, anybody want to give me the quick recap? Looks like somebody put a hit on a prison warden in Colorado, then the hitter was shot by the cops down in Texas.

Where's that noted?  It makes sense, they're trying to make the connection and I heard there was a uniform and pizza box in his car.  Sounds like a piece of info the Colorado police new about from the get-go, but didn't release that bit of information for whatever reason.

but that's the way it goes.

Surely this was a normal, otherwise law abiding gun owner who was driven to violent action because of the recently passed gun control bills, just like the news insinuated...

Right?

QFTA:

Clements is the fifth criminal justice official in the United States to be targeted since the beginning of the year, including the still-unsolved murder of a Texas prosecutor shot dead outside a courthouse in January, CBS News correspondent Mark Strassmann reports.

Looks like the cartels and other gangs are finding it cheaper to kill officials than to buy them off.
