It's nice to see top men are working on it. Top men.

Is Aleta in it? Is Vance in it? Charlie? Martinex? Yondu? No?

Then it's not the Guardians of the Galaxy

No, it's the team that was actually much better written.

No Adam Warlock either. Which is too bad. I've always thought that Warlock and Thanos had one of the better rivalries in comicdom.

Darth Vader's mask? - a modified M17A1 gas mask.

Sorry, no. New Guardians isn't the better written team. Dan Abnett needs to stick to Warhammer 40K/millitary stories; if he were writing Spider-Man, Aunt May would be a retired Sorroritas that can kick the Punisher's butt six ways from Sunday. The original team has far more interesting characters with more depth. Who would you rather follow, a guy that's a knock-off of Corsair (minus the swordplay), or the guy that's actually earned the right to wield Captain America's shield and has Cap's blessing to carry on the legacy in the future?

So... a comic that's ended after 25 issues gets a movie deal these days? That's good to know in case I wanna hack that comic-studio system.

Seriously, the writing that goes into your superhero comics is lame and it's all down to getting a dyslexic artist to draw his erotic dreams.

Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad.  The new Guardians was so much more fun than the old Guardians, it's not even comparable.  I've read both of them.

Honestly, I don't see how they can make a live action movie with Rocket Racoon and Groot without it being CG'd to hell.

And? CG has gotten really really good.

The current series of GotG seems to be pretty good. I'm not talking about the last one they did, but the newest one that is ongoing and includes Iron Man as a member of the team.

I'm not sure I'm on-board with Batista being Drax in this movie, but we'll see how it works when he's in front of the camera with other actors.

Anyway, if they go with this lineup, that means more Robert Downey Jr. Tony Stark, and I'm always on board with that.

It's Drax, not Shakespeare.

I think Batista is better suited for Groot when it comes to dialogue.
