That was the most satisfying level of any fighter jet game I've ever played.

Which game was it?
And
Is there a decent A-10 game out there?

jaytkay: erik-k: Have you ever encountered a problem with bios display routines in ProLiant hardware running insanely full-retard slow (think 300 baud modem slow)? Not POST, not after boot, but just e.g. the boot menu? And do you have a solution?

ZOMG this will be awesome if you get a useful answer

Turbo button? That makes it go 6 mega-hurries.

Go look at an now defunct company named Dynamix.
They had an awesome A-10 game.

Bah, that's only a truck truck. What you need is a truck truck truck!

DCS A-10C Warthog, though it's a study sim.  Not everybody wants to invest that much time (and eventually, money) into a "game".  Other than that...Arma 2?

Fraid not my shop is entirely Dell hardware at the moment, we're shifting towards HP in the next few years due to some service agreements and what I just read from a google about your issue does not leave me very impressed.  Shot in the dark possibility though I found in some youtube thread of all places is someone suggested it thinks there is a serial console connected and thus purposely slowing down for it.

I prefer the Antonov An-225. If it can't fit its cargo inside, it has plenty of hardpoints on top. Very useful for transporting things like Russian space shuttles.

Just look at the landing gear. I don't know if they've tried it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it could handle dirt/mud runways.

Yeah, but do the Russians have a sense of humour about transporting their space shuttles?
