Apparently March Madness long con is to get your captain and co-captain kicked out of school

10 of 15, but I didn't have any of the loses going past the second round so I'm still good. If Marquette would have lost, that would have hurt.

Not really. Big upsets usually no one has. Even my bracket with them as champ is still kinda good.
Basically everyone in the whole office pool moved down by the same amount.

I love that somehow 600 brackets had called all those earlier games....yet thought the Overall number 1 seed was going to lose.

Greg Gumbel: Montana may not reach 50.
Charles Barkley: REACH 50!? Try 35.

There are going to be a lot of people running around tomorrow saying "I told you so" about the Mountain West with both the Rebels and the Lobos losing. The conference IS really weak and the #2 RPI for the Lobos looks like a sick joke.

PERFECT BRACKET WATCH - END OF DAY ONE:
ESPN has 1238 perfect brackets remaining.
Yahoo has... yeah, I can't figure out since I'm not a 1-loss bracket anymore, so I can't use my rank, It's more than 50, but no clue how much more.

/yes, 101 people had the first 15 games correct but then picked Montana

Crap. I MWC homered and had Newer Mexico in the 4.  Bye bye bracket.

There are a ton of entry's in the ESPN Fark group with points possible of 1760 and 1740.  Looks pretty wide open.

I'm 140/1740

so as 12 seeds both cal and oregon get pseudo home games in san jose verses teams from nevada and oklahoma.  that seems like a smart decision by the selection committee.  and now oregon get the 4 seed from missouri, and cal gets a 4 seed from upstate new york.  seems legit...

That seems to happen every year, too.  Who actually picks 1 seeds to lose in the first round?

They would have totally gotten away with it too if not for your super sleuthing skills.

Master Jason: Who actually picks 1 seeds to lose in the first round?

16 seeds have lost 114 straight since the tourney expanded to 64 teams. They're due.

Cal/UNLV and New Mexico/Harvard wrecked my brackets. I had UNLV in the Elite Eight and New Mexico in the Final Four. So... I'm pretty much screwed there.

I figured that Ohio State and Gonzaga were both good picks to get upset (As I've seen OSU play, and I'll drink a case of Natty Lite if they get to the Final Four). Figured New Mexico would be motivated, and was probably a tad underrated as was the rest of their conference. They seemed to be a good pick in that part of the bracket. UNLV.. meh... I guess it was an upset pick taking them over Indy (who again, I've seen play, and I would bet no money on them).

The only two games I missed on today. But they hurt the most (although theoretically it would have hurt more for Louisville to lose, but c'mon... we all knew that wasn't happening).

One of these years it's going to happen. There's been some really close calls in the past, including Gonzaga barely surviving today. And people want the bragging rights to say "I called it!"

/Never picks a 16 seed, though I did correctly pick Lehigh as a 15 seed last year to eliminate Duke
//Best pick I ever made for this silly tournament :)

Well, I think I am doing OK.

I picked:

Louisville
Oregon
St.Louis
Memphis
Duke
Gonzanga

I'm not sure what any of it means or how the points work.

It's great being a noob and not overthinking it all.

Just thought I would share before I try to attempt reading and comprehending this thread.
