Some monks called it "liquid bread" and did survive for long periods of time on it nearly exclusively while fasting during Lent and poor local water conditions.

Wasn't there an article here a while back about a guy who tried the beer only Lent thing?  Doppelbock, if I recall correctly.

Actually, I bet you could survive on micheladas. All the lime and tomato juice should keep you from keeling over.

From what I heard Guinness is suppose to be only missing 1 like thing we nee. it is possible if anyone cared, mix up what we need to survive that is not in beer, figure out how to add it to the beer, bottled meals.

I have the answer.  Sadly, it's "no".  My brother tried.  He's in the hospital now and his electrolytes are severely farked.
