If you want to pay markup plus 15% I guess.  Even when they go on sale they still cost more than what the dedicated gun stores are selling them for.

The grocery store near my house does have some good prices on reloading supplies though.  You just have to be able to reach them.

Ned Stark: heypete: Ned Stark: That's interesting.

And just a touch creepy.

*shrugs* That's pretty much the case in most public places, stores, etc. in most states -- if it's not posted "no guns on premises" or is otherwise not legally designated as a "gun free zone" (certain states list churches, universities, etc. as such zones) then licensed people can carry there. It's not really a problem.

Not that part. That part is normal.

Want to go way into WTF territory? Some Walmart stores hire uniformed security guards to be a visible deterrence against crime/violence, especially in the stores that are open 24 hours in places like Chicago, Detroit, etc.

The security guards are not allowed to carry firearms inside the store.

wambu: Based on your logic, let's ban cellphones in cars since I bet he had a cellphone and a car. That would be SOOOOOO much better.

Slippery slope argument.

Doom MD: Put everyone in a jail cell at birth, if it saves one life, just one life, it'll be worth it.

Reductio ad absurdum.

He was carrying two pistols, the charges say.

f.kinsburg.ru

Yeah well, a lot of folks did call him "Two-Gun" but that wasn't because he was sporting two pistols. That was because he had a dick that was so big it was longer than the barrel of that Walker Colt that he carried.

wambu: inner ted: Sad. Another mentally unstable dude who should not have a gun who has a gun. Let's ban 15-round magazines and AR-15s to solve this problem!

you are so right

this situation would have been so much better if he had been well equipped with his 'man card' issued ar-15 and double drum 100 round mag

that would have been SOOOOOO much better

If he'd had those, maybe so.
