Never touched meth, never will, but it is my understanding that the "one pot shot" produces really BAD quality meth with loads of impurities.

Yeah, same here. I don't have any desire to try meth, but geez, if it's going to be around (and clearly it is), could we just legalize and regulate amphetamines so that people aren't smoking whatever some guy that got a C- in remedial high school chemistry cooked up in the trailer park?

Prohibition of alcohol was a good example of that. How many people died drinking bathtub gin as opposed to commercially produced spirits?

I'm pretty sure that more people died in connection with crystal meth in the past few years than people did while drinking bad alcohol during the entire 18 years of Prohibition.

But meth related deaths are far more entertaining.

Not to question the legitimacy of that woman's innocence but, in spite of Breaking Bad's popularity, I find it odd that she immediately drew that parallel.
Her and her son were clearly making cheap bucket meth to pay for her Parkinson's treatment. Convict that woman.

FrancoFile: barefoot in the head: Well, it's a good thing that there is a tv show that popularises this sort of thing, so that some of you can explain to the rest what kind of sordid crap he was referring to.
